How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There were not many options at breakfast.
The reception staff were helpful. Breakfast was average, but the variety was limited (mostly Chinese food). A few more European-style options would have made it better. The rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable.

a faint smoke smell in the hallway, the Wi-Fi was very weak, and the distance to the metro 15 minutes.
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room were clean. The bed was comfortable with a very good mattress. We appreciated the non-smoking room as requested. We were also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the gym and found the on-site laundry room to be extremely useful during our stay. The coffee shop on the first floor was a very convenient addition. The staff at the reception were always friendly and helpful.

The Temple of Heaven is approximately 12 mins away on foot, so the hotel is well placed for access to one of the city's top attractions. Since the nearest metro is in front the Temple of Heaven, it's not super convenient for daily access.

The staff didn't speak English, but a translation app made communication easy. Special thanks to Leo and Mia for their help.

We stayed for 5 days and got the same spread for breakfast. Wished they would attempt some variation of the food.
Allowed us to pack some food for the kids from the breakfast spread. The hotel also loaned us a wheelchair for my mom to use.

Some rooms has smell of cigarettes.
The staff was friendly as they changed smoked room. Another room was unsmoked. This hotel has good location nearby parks. Also there is a good european breakfast.

Aminities are not at per (no tooth brush or paste ) , you have to ask for. Breakfast option are there but every day same breakfast no change.

The corridors were being cleaned, they had sheets covering all the floor that were smelling a bit.
Good location, plenty of shops and places to visit close to the hotel, just like we planned.

Good value hotel in a quiet area of Beijing. If you're not using the Didi ride sharing app, the closest subway station is Tianqiao, about a 600m flat walk. The room was a good size, breakfast spread was ample, comfy beds and a good selection of restaurants and shops at the end of Nanwei Road. Everyone spits and smokes in China. We had requested a non smoking room, which it was, but we could smell people had smoked in there, even though the housekeeping staff do their best, its hard to find a truly smoke-free room in China. That said, it was conveniently located for access to Beijing West & South railway stations and Daxing airport. We 'would' stay again and recommend it.

Bathroom is made of Glass blocks … one of us uses the bathroom- other one has to go out . The carpets need deep cleaning ASAP

The staff couldn't speak much English. The WiFi didn't work. The gym had very little equipment with no weights.
The location was not far from Tian Qiao metro station and the Temple of Heaven.

The bedroom could do with some maintenance and updating - some sockets did not work and the air conditioning was not very effective but noisy. There was a noisy machine outside the room.
The room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful.
