United KingdomSuper modern western style hotel in new development in Zhongshan. Check in on 5th floor - our room was big enough but of a strange layout - no idea why it was done that way ? Good facilities and happy competent staff. The HK coach leaves/arrives on G/F so we could meet up with friends crossing border from HK Only negative was house keeping - they didn’t bother on one of the 4 days we stayed - despite requesting - no explanation / no offer of water or fresh towels - just completely missed us out. Very strange - given the rest of stay was good I believe this was some simple mistake. Would we stay again - probably yes

CanadaBreakfast officially starts at 7 am is TOO LATE for early departure guests or early risers, everything should be ready by 6:30 am at the latest though ALL breakfast items should be available by 6 am is much preferred; Congee never ready until 7 am or after; Chinese style congee served in western menu soup bowl is awefully small, inappropriate and ridiculous; Hotel is doing too well - hence overcrowded at breakfast, very unpleasant environment; No scramble eggs (or I didn't find it?) for breakfast buffet; no freshly done eggs

Hong KongI am a member of IHG group, we talked about interconnected rooms at high floor in advanced. They did not have any preparation. It seems that the room allocation was random which ended up my family rooms are located at opposite at low level. Check-in crowd gathered at the same area with no management, no line for queueing.
