The thin mattress was no joke. I can sleep on just about any surface, so I was fine, but if your body is more sensitive, you might want to keep that in mind. The downstairs lobby can get a little crowded and slightly messy, but it's not like you'll be spending much time there anyway.

The staff were really nice and spoke good enough English. They informed me at check-in that I could upgrade my room for free, which was great! I loved the room, it was very modern and comfortable and had everything a traveller might need. The shower was large and clean and worked very well. The bunk bed was spacious, too. They also provide you with some essentials for free, including slippers and a toothbrush. The room AC worked perfectly and the room temperature was easily adjustable.

We stayed in dorm, perfectly comfortable and clean. Appreciate too the free laundry at the hotel. Guests can also use the bar for drinks and breakfast in the morning. The garden at the side of the hotel was what we definitely enjoyed; you can just relax there and have a drink and talk among friends after a whole day of going around Shanghai.

Need to climb steps to go to the room not convenient with all the luggages. Also the bathroom so small. Cleaner clean the room 60% without doing the bed and towel not properly folded for customers so we do not know towel changed or not.

I did not take breakfast. As for the location it is pretty good easy to get didi to town center.

Effortless accessibility to all the main tourist attractions in Shanghai. Close to the Metro - enjoyed our breakfast every morning and Sun, the concierge was extremely helpful and kind.
