I see some rooms where they need to beat the rain to get to the tea place for breakfast. Perhaps a bit of inconvenience to that. But they provide umbrella so i guess if you wanna have an experience staying in a courtyard this is something to be anticipated.

The warm hospitality. It really feels like home away from home. I love that there’s a tea place where you can help yourself with all the drinks and chill there. And if u play chess, there’s a set for you to play with your friends too. The staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. One of them i know her name is Xiao Zhang. Of course all of them are great!

This small hotel is full of character. The warmth of staff and excellent service, F&B offered suit the season during the stay which takes into consideration of health benefits, all meticulously provided. The stay was like a home than a hotel. Location is excellent. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel! The staff are great hosts, very friendly. Make you feel at home. The location is convenient, very central, tucked down a hutong neighborhood not far from the Forbidden City. Quiet with beautiful historic charm, but also with comfortable modern amenities in the rooms. They provide a beautiful tea service that is an experience not to be missed! Would love to stay here again!

Located about 3-min drive from the Wangfujing shopping area, it's a home away from home. Love the traditional architecture and landscape. Very beautiful. The staff is very friendly and their service is top-notch. We enjoyed ourselves throughout our 9-day stay. Oh! Not to mention the sumptous afternoon tea which we absolutely love!

The room might be a bit small for two people for a longer stay, but it was very cozy.

Extremly friendly staff who is very helpful with everything that we needed during our stay or restaurant reservations. Our room was great, even fancy. Everything is very modern, we even had an electronic curtain opener and a toilet with remote controller. We highly recommend this hotel and their complementary afternoon tea which was served with lots of love everytime. We had an amazing time with you. Thank you very much.

Location: amazing. Staff: amazing. Rooms: amazing. Aesthetic: amazing. Love love love this hotel, it was everything I wanted in a hotel in Beijing, and more. I will miss going through those big red doors everyday, felt like I was stepping into history every time. While the building keeps its historical charms, the insides of the rooms are beautifully fresh and modern. The bathroom especially was great. The beds were comfy and the details like the little birds and crickets in the courtyards were great. The staff were always super helpful. They responded quickly and efficiently on WeChat, and were putting in so much effort to help me find things around the city. Every time we enter or leave the hotel we would be greeted enthusiastically by the staff. This was probably the best customer service experience we have had in a month of travel around china. Massive shout out to Thea and Tao Zi, who always went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Notably, on our last night in Beijing, they kindly spent the night playing the board game Go with me, and teaching me Chinese words. The tea they made was lovely and they supplied me with so many snacks like popcorn and strawberries. This was such a memorable way to end my stay in Beijing, so thank you girls, it really was the cherry on top to an already great visit.

The staff was SO friendly, and the hotel is full is little details that complete your stay. You get afternoon tea, delicious breakfast, and little goodbye gift...the room was large and comfortable, modern and refurbished, in such a lovely hutong and also not in a touristic hutong area! We loved everything about our stay.

Amazing staff, welcoming, friendly, generous, attentionate. Very nice small Hutongs hotel, with a great courtyard and roof terrace. Generous tea service once per day, and very nice breakfast, with explanation of the related local food culture.

Style. Location. Staff. They provides breakfast, afternoon tea (which you can take until 10 pm), even night snack. The staff are so helpful and friendly especially Shi Ning. Thank you. Oh the television is using a screen and projection with many movie choices.

We loved everything. All the staff was amazing, always very nice and trying to do everything to make our stay very pleasant. We loved the welcome tea and breakfast was very good. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer! The gift when we checked-out was a lovely touch!
