The place is as shown in the pictures, location inside the old town is mere minutes walk away from the central town square. The breakfast provided was a simple local food, which is a nice break from the flavourful local food .”

“The hotel is conveniently located within the city center of Shangri-La, just a 10 min walk away from the main square and very close to plenty of cafes and restaurants. The room was very comfortable and fully equipped with heater for the cold, heated toilet, bathrobes and slippers. Breakfast was included and it was delicious - eggs, bacon, sausage, toast with butter and fruit. A special shoutout to the owner Gesang who was absolutely amazing in taking us to visit the Tiger Leaping Gorge and Shibaoshan Grottes (one of our favorite visits in China!). She also had great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in Shangri-La.”
