The neat and well-maintained Hotel Puelche is located near Lake Llanquihue, with a friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure tourists have a pleasant stay. We easily booked an excursion at the hotel reception from several suggestions they had selected to suit our needs. The hotel is within walking distance of the town center (Plaza de Armas), where you'll find numerous restaurants and shops. The hotel also has a restaurant serving, among other things, delicious hamburgers that rival fast-food chains. In the morning, a delicious, extensive breakfast buffet is served in the same restaurant, while the cozy, beautifully decorated lobby offers a peaceful place to relax and reflect on a day's excursion. In short, highly recommended for a successful stay in Puerto Varas at an attractive price.

We were so pleased with our stay and our room had a perfect view of Osorno volcano! We chose Hotel Puelche because of some reviews saying the rooms were large and that was a fact! The bed was the biggest we’ve ever seen. And the room super spacious. Bathroom well kept, clean and nice strong shower. The staff very friendly. Breakfast was good. They even had gluten free bread for my spouse.

Beautiful room with comfortable beds and Lake view. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent, and for other meals the restaurant was very good. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. The hotel is not in the centre but is in a nice location about 10/15 minute walk away.

Huge rooms, huge beds, lovely strong showers and spotlessly clean. We had a room overlooking the not-busy main road which had a sneaky view of Osorno volcano when the cloud lifted, wow. Staff super helpful, they arranged laundry service, helped with taxi to the airport. About 15 min walk into town. Recommend Quintal bar and restaurant for casual meals and beers - turn R out the hotel and walk 2 mins!

We slept like babies in our two big and very comfortable beds in a really large room with lots of windows and even a sitting area. Breakfast was good, but the coffee could have been stronger. Parking is available just outside the hotel and there are many eateries fairly close by.

Fabulous room! Very big, great view to the lake, really quiet. The room is so spacious with a dining area in the corner with large windows to enjoy the view. Plenty of space to unpack. Bathroom was also nice and spacious, decent toiletries provided, nice towels. Beds were really comfortable. Parking is on the street and seems very safe. Breakfast buffet was excellent with eggs, yogurt, fruits, breads, cakes and juices. Enjoyed walking to the nearby restaurants like Shoper and Delicias. Loved it!

Practically nothing.

The hotel is in a quieter part of Puerto Varas and with great view of the lake. If you want to walk to the busier downtown area there is a walkway along the cost that takes you there with great views. Coming back there is a bit of climbing. Great breakfast with good service. Ours was a large room with good lake views.

The wifi in the room was a little slow but worked well in the restaurant and lounge area.

Large room. Great location with views across the lake of Osorno Volcano. Hotel restaurant had great food with the option of healthy salads or a great hamburger. Highly recommend.
