Room was next to living/dining area and hard to avoid hearing those rising and breakfasting earlier than myself.

Be careful when you arrive by bus and do not follow the google directions by foot, the direct option guides you many many steps up the hill, take the walk on the bigger street ;)

I just stayed one night but it is a great place, very nice and friendly owner, very good breakfast. The room was small but for one person and one night just fine.

I would have loved a slightly bigger bathroom, although the building simply does not allow for that. So it's not really a complaint.

The place is really nice with a view across the bay and the lower part of the city. A lot of attention was paid to details in the simple jet functional rooms. I had a small room with its private bathroom, and up on mentioning that the shower head was leaking, because of a bad gasket I got a replacement immediately! A nice simple breakfast was included. Great WIFI..!

I felt extremely bad having got timings a bit off for leaving the next day.... got the host out of bed at 05:30 to open gate but was done with a huge smile and without any grumpiness at all (she's a better human than me...!). I was there for one night and chose the small room with private bathroom. Clean, comfortable single bed and excellent value for money. Very quick walk down the stairs to town centre (not recommended to use them late at night). Was happy for me to park inside gated property with hire car. Cannot thank the host enough and recommended.

I liked everything about it.

The location is very close to the bus terminal so if you are coming in by bus you don’t need a taxi or other shuttle. The host Carlos is incredible. He shares his knowledge of Chile and customs, helps plan itineraries, and is incredibly caring and helpful with all details. The beds and linens are clean and crisp and the home is super clean, spotless. He is fluent in many languages and always available for his guests. He is kind and entertaining. His home has an exceptional view of the water and town. This was my favorite stay in Chile.

Carlos the owner is incredibly nice and friendly! He even spoke German with me. The location is very central and close to the bus station. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast good and the wifi was also fast. I would definitely stay there again!

The surrounding area doesn't look great, but it's a working port town, not a model village. I came back late every night and felt very safe walking the streets by myself.

Carlos is a great host with lots of good suggestions for touring around the area, and his place is very comfortable and sparkling clean. It's only a 10 minute walk to and from the bus station (albeit, up a long set of stairs if you come the most direct route), and there’s some great bars and restaurants only a couple of blocks away (and a very good one next door). Breakfast was fab.

The heating in the room only functions in the late afternoon to early morning, which is no hassle if you plan to stay one night or be out in the day.

I stayed here one day and most of the next day (paid for two nights). The place is 5-10 min from the bus terminal. It's fairly basic but clean and well managed. Carolina, the friendly host, is also very helpful. Also good breakfast.
