Montaña Magia was the first hotel in Huilo Huilo and the rooms are very small. The design is special, very interesting, but very small and not practical. If you want to stay in Huilo Huilo go to the Notofagus, which has more spacious rooms

This is a special place, the hotel is very original, like a fairy tale. Breakfast was excellent and you have a lot of choices for hikes in Huilo Huilo. Staff is extremely friendly.

Its not extremely soundproof, but that makes sense given that the hotel is build from wood.

Its like stepping into a fairytale. Really nice experience! The whole ambiance is really relaxed. The surrounding hiking trails are really nice with great waterfalls.

Some of the light bulbs in the bedroom were very bright. It would be nice if they had dimmers. It would also be nice if they had toiletries in the bathroom that had less chemical industry content. Some toiletries that have all natural products and / or essential oils or an essential oil diffuser in the rooms would be amazing and would go with the rest of the ecological branding. It would also be nice if they had more comfortable pillows such as down with feather pillows and / or memory foam pillows. It would also go very nicely with the ecological message and branding of taking care of land and animals if you would take care of the stray dogs running around. Some of them are injured, have skin conditions, are very thin, and so on. You should give them elf names and beautiful collars with the property branding. Spread the love to these beautiful beings as well...

I thought it was "soul remarkable." A place after my heart. Very beautiful. Very positive energy, good food, nice people and of course the nature and the animals!

Absolutely magical! Amazing comfort and warmth. Plenty of comfortable lounging areas, excellent food and staff. The parks on gounds and nearby are breathtaking. Attentive staff.

It’s is very expensive and it was dry season, no river along side trekking. You can’t manage nature, but you can inform that.

Dinner experience was not the best. Too much time for serving, not the right temperature of meals and nothing extraordinary for meals options.

Facilities are gorgeous, plenty of wood around us, big windows allowing forest views. Long lobby with several chairs and comfortable sofas. Trails are spectacular with the exception of La Leona because lack of water during our visit. But fantastic views and well signaled. The room was very comfortable and warm. No wifi into the rooms is a nice experience. If needed, we have the long lobby to be connected. Excellent breakfast.

I've been trying to come here for 4 yrs and finally made it. The hotel and location do not disappoint. It is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay, and the staff are nothing but nice and helpful.

Due to the rustic wood-made architecture, the rooms can be noisy with other guests walking in the other rooms and common areas. The dinner was ok, but with a long time to refill the buffet.

The only problem is there is not AC and when the days are 30+ is just impossible to sleep :( When you are doing outdoors activities and hiking the whole day with hot weather, you just want to get to your room and rest in a cool place and in this case it wasn’t possible. I completely understand that they want to keep everything natural and sustainable, but there is always ways to do it :)

The hotel is amazing :) we loved everything in there, and all the hiking places stunning! definitely a place where you can connect with nature and get to know the beauty of the south of Chile. I would give 10 for everything if it wasn’t for the AC issue.

Very noisy in hotel rooms, heating in rooms (not bathrooms) centrally managed: in rooms it was too hot, administration hotel staff (hotel and spa reception) very square, totally not flexible, makes you feel not like a customer, no tv in rooms, small damages visible in bathroom, carpets very old and dirty, shower in bath not possible to close so water was coming out, during night there mechanical noise, very old fashion swimming pools
