Floors and doors are made of wood and creak a bit, so you may hear it especially at night if someone moves around, but that's part of the historical building. So, just be aware of it.

Close to the city center (8 min on foot). Confortable beds, clean bathrooms. What really stands out are the common rooms, kitchens and cozy atmosphere. Coffee and tea are available all day. Totally recommended.

This is one of the nicest hostels I stayed in in Chile. The private room is very spacious and the hostel is very clean. The staff were helpful. Would recommend you stay here if staying in Puerto Varas. Unfortunately as my room was so nice I did not make full use of the communal areas

The ONLY problem, which they are working on addressing, is sometimes inconsistent hot water in the showers. Everything else is perfect: rooms are 100% dark at night, beds are so comfortable and warm, and kitchens have sugar, salt and cooking oil. For the very nice small-group volcano tour, just ask in advance since it only goes once per week and fills up fast (6ppl max).

Absolutely amazing hostel, everything perfect, super clean, wonderfully comfy and cozy, with wood burning stoves in the evening, beautiful common areas, two immaculate and well-stocked kitchens with everything you need, and just 2 blocks from supermarkets and 3 blocks from the main plaza/ city center of safe, beautiful Puerto Varas and its charming waterfront with volcano views. Stay here if it's available! Thank me later.

Best hostel we stayed at in years. Very spacious rooms with good beds and big lockers. There are two kitchens and everybody has their own space in the fridge. The general atmosphere in the hostel is really good.

It is a wonderful place, where you get a warm welcome, which is professionally managed, where you meet inspiring people you can chat with for hours, where the fire in the oven burns and where you get a tasty cake. We loved it. Les chilenos et les bretons sont super cool and très, très sympas!

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Beautiful colonial building, large common areas, two kitchens (one vegetarian!), music corner, … amazing beds! Like really your home quality. Owner Pierre is very informative about neighborhood. Good price. 10/10.

It’s only a small thing but I wish there was a bathroom without a shower. If all the showers were in use, you could be waiting awhile just to brush your teeth.

This place was fantastic. I loved the common spaces and the dorm was very comfortable as well. Staff were helpful and the entire place was spotless. Highly recommended.

Rooms are spacious with plenty of storage room. There are two fully equipped kitchens. Very good vibe from fellow travellers. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Sometimes it was too hot in the rooms at night, because they put on the heaters.

I only showered once and didn't work out how to get the hot water going. So the shower was cold. But I should have enquired with the staff about how to get it warm!

It was amazing. The common areas are so inviting, the garden is nice to hang out, the room was large with very nice bedding and an extra blanket for warmth. There was also a desk. The free tea was really nice. The staff and other guests were amazing.

This is a lovely cosy hostel, it has a friendly laidback atmosphere, a huge communal livingroom with soft sofa’s, books & games and a firelit heaters (pelletstoves) for cold days. On warm days there is a nice garden with tables and hammocks.

The place was kept super clean! They even made the beds every day. There are 2 kitcgens, giving everyone enough space to cook. The best part are the big living spaces with a fire to warm up at night. Super cosy and a great lace to relax after a day of exploring

The staff welcomed me late at night (while other places had already closed). The room was large and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. Loved the fires, the coffee and the carrot cake!

Best hostel I've stayed at in Chile! Clean spaces with fire stoves for extra cozyness, good interior choices, comfortable bed with enough quilts to never freeze, a garden, warm water in the shower, and two kitchens (one vegetarian and one for everything). Location was very close to where my bus arrived, and also a close walk into the city center. I could easily have spent more time in this place.
