It's great place if you need to stay close to the airport. Rafael is very outgoing host willing to help you with any problem you have. I would recommend it to you if you're looking for something short and close to the airport. There are also great empanadas across the street!

Neighborhood was a little questionable at night but can't accurately assess the environment as I wasn't there in daytime.

Rafael, the main host/owner was very friendly and helpful. Had no problem with me arriving late as he and another guest were playing Fifa on a PS5. He showed me around the property and even connected me with his neighbor who is a driver (I had an early flight the next morning and needed a safe and quick way to the airport before sunrise). Also hooked me up with a towel and let me use the shower facilities after standard hours. Great hospitality, convenient location for airport access and great price.

Location isn't the nicest but this is as expected being close to the airport.

Friendly owner with a comfortable well run hostel. The hostel serves its purpose well being near the airport and has a very good food truck across the street to grab a meal.

I was concerned about the area but the street is a very good one and I went to a service at the church at the end of the street and felt welcomed.

Rafael was a kind and considerate host. The hostel is small but really clean and tidy. The mural and wall paintings give it a unique feeling. The kitchen was very clean and well equipped ( super cooking range!) and Rafael provided fruit everyday I was there - a nice touch which I appreciated.

The only thing was how hot the room was. The top bunks where particulary hot, maybe they need their own fans?

The owner is super nice! It felt like a small social guest house. Bueno!

The stairs take a bit to get used to, especially if you are tall. The taxi driver warned me about the neighborhood, but if you avoid some parts, you are fine. It can get hot in rooms in the summer or cold in winter as there is less heating or air conditioning than in the US, but that is Chile in general. The transportation system getting there is overwhelming at first, and i still have not mastered it. If you are flexible, I found him to be a great host.

I liked the atmosphere. There were friendly people, and he was a great host. I speak Spanish, which helped. When you get used to the location, it's no problem, but you may need a day to get orientated.. when there is some food prepared, he is willing to share, which is generous of him.

Stayed here during a layover in Santiago and it’s close proximity to the airport was perfect. Rafael was very friendly and helpful, I enjoyed chatting to him. The hostel is simple but comfortable and very clean! If you’re looking for an authentic, communal style hostal, this is the place for you.

It's perfectly located near the airport with a supermarket within walking distance and a nice kitchen to use. I slept so well that when I didn't know what day it was or if it was night or day when I finally woke up (at 9.30am). But the best part is Rafael and his mum - top notch human beings! He messaged with details of how to get there smoothly let me check in at 7.30am, reminded me when I was late for my next flight and then offered to drive me to the airport when the Uber was taking too long (as I was running late. So kind 🥰

Perfect place to sleep beds were comfy , I felt like I was sleeping at someone’s home rather than a hostel. Very cozy, close to the airport. Got in late at midnight and got some good sleep then left for airport. This hostel was very welcoming and cozy compared to other in Santiago wish I would’ve found before.The address on google isn’t exactly correct but just look for the colourful building , also showers with hot water , perfect
