How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Lake view. Helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast. The location was exceptional. We will definitely stay again when we visit Puerto Varas.

Overpriced because there was no bathrobe or slippers in the room after the shower for this price for the 1 night. And I forgot 3 new panties in the room, but no one wrote to me about it🙈
Overall, I liked everything, the breakfast was really good, very tasty smoked fish for breakfast👌capsule coffee machine in the room, refrigerator, tea bag’s, large bed, good blanket, 4 pillows of different hardness. And the service is also good, they accepted my 2 deliveries from the store when I was not yet at the hotel. thank you! I didn't have time to use the spa and pool. Next time!

Facilities look old. The bathroom had a 90’s look and both shower and bathtub were clogged.
Quality price ratio was excellent. Unbeatable location. Comfortable bed.

The hotel was fine however earlier in the week I stayed in a different place and only went to radisson as they didn't have availability. I did prefer the other one over the radisson.
It was a nice hotel and met all expectations that a hotel would.

Some of the furniture is a bit dated and chipped.
It is very centrally located and the desk and spa staff were really helpful. Beds were great, the view was wonderful and breakfast was good.

All good
We spent just one night there before we left for our Cruce Andino (Andean Crossing) tour. We had a big comfortable room with a partial lake view. The location was a few steps from the lake and right next door to the Cruce Andino office. The breakfast buffet with good selection was served at 7:00 - early enough for us to have our meal and board out tour bus on time (7:30). I'd recommend that Radisson hotel to everyone who has booked Cruce Andino tour from Puerto Varas.

The electric plugs in the rooms. We arrived past 8 pm. We spent over 20 min standing at the front desk for lack of personnel. Finally we got to our room only to discovee we couldn’t plug our american phones due to lack of compatible outlets. We were tired, hungry after crossing the lakes all day long. We went back to the front desk to request an adaptor. They said they had none. At close to 9pm we had to walk to a gas station , pay 18000 pesos for the adaptor that luckily they had. The following morning, my husband discovered that the bathroom had the right plugs ! If only reception would have known that their bathrooms do have compatible outlets for american phones they would have saved us all these inconveniences. They were not well trained in the features of their own hotel.

Some rooms can be a bit noisy with casino across the road.
Great location - on the lake and close to all the shops and restaurants. Great breakfast and restaurant in hotel has very good food for lunch / dinner.

The spa was just a tiny pool in the roof with a massage room.

The first room we were allocated was on the first floor (Chile floor 2) which proved to be too close to the outside road and the next door Casino that has road level slot machines, annoucements and really irritating music 24/7. Thankfully a move to floor 3 (Chile floor 4) was arranged after a couple of nights and this was much better. The parking arrangements are nuts! Despite having to request parking and having it approved at booking, the hotel seems to approve for everyone despite having only about 25 spaces in a hundred bedroom hotel. Consequently parking chaos most days, with double and triple parking in underground car park (this would not be allowed in many countries owing to fire risk). Parking madness!
The view of the lake is second to none. Simply breathtaking!

The suites are more like updated regular rooms with view, they're not particularly large. Hotel can be quite busy as it accommodates groups.
Wonderful location. Lake view rooms are absolutely worth it. Very helpful staff. We were offered to get our room very early without any extra charge after arriving in the city with an morning flight. They also arranged our departure to the airport including a breakfast to go. Good breakfast and excellent restaurant.

The staff lacked knowledge about providing tips to travelers. They were unable to recommend places to visit, suggest thermal spa experiences, or advise on road trips, among other examples. It was incredible how unhelpful they were in offering recommendations for things to do. When I tried to rent a kayak on the lake, they told me it was impossible. However, just two minutes later, I asked at the information center, and they provided me with all the details I needed to rent a kayak and learn about additional activities.

Beds were too small… not comfortable and we are not large people. Restaurant staff was not attentive - not good.
Hotel location was fantastic. It was clean and front desk staff was terrific.
