It’s a bit inconvenient that they don’t give guests a key to the front door so you have to ring the doorbell every time you want to be let back in. That worked well most of the time but twice I had to wait ten or fifteen minutes until there was a reaction which especially in the evening made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

Simple but clean rooms, hot shower, nice common room with coffee, tea and cookies all day and an amazing view of the city and bay. Location very central with lots of restaurants in the same street, the area felt safe to me. There is no breakfast but a very good cafe for breakfast only a one minute walk away.

Couldn’t get the tv to work, but most people probably won’t care about that. You need to ring the doorbell every time you want to be let back in, which made me worry about bothering people, but it is what it is

Perfect location to begin walking around. Extremely clean. The housekeepers work hard! I liked that each room has its own bathroom. Good value, nice rooftop eating area, good wifi, nice and helpful staff.

Superb. Loved it. Super cool old building, beautiful architecture, fun music visual theme in rooms. Outstanding location in Cerro Allegre, colorful and eclectic, lots of good restaurants all around, craft sellers set up shop right along the pathway the hotel is on. Incredible harbor and city views from top floor kitchen area. Recommended!

Really nice small hotel where everything is done to a really nice standard and clean and modern with comfortable beds Hot Water and anything you could need. Really nice staff running it making it a very nice Hotel with good comunal spaces that are nice to spend time in especially the rooftop área has amazing views of central Valparasio especially at night.

Clean room, friendly staff, AMAZING VIEW over Valparaíso from the rooftop terrace, nice neighbourhood with cafes, restaurants and art. Even though it is centrally located, the hotel was usually very quiet at night.

This is the perfect location for Valparaiso as you are super close to many bars and restaurants. It’s in a safe area and the big plus is the top floor dining area that overlooks the bay. You actually get a better view than the restaurant fauna that everybody seems to go to.

You have to ring the bell to enter the building. It’s fine, just not my preference. The “breakfast” was coffee and tea, so don’t expect more than that.

I like how it’s more like a hotel with a common area. Each room has its own bathroom, which is small but gets the job done. The portable fan in the room was great for white noise to block out any street sounds. Staff was very helpful! Location was in the tourist area and felt safe.

You don't get a key for the front door so you have to ring the bell for the staff to let you in every time. My room window was internal, overlooking the staircase, so it was never really dark. Quite noisy and echoey at night too, with other guests coming back late. Nothing that earplugs and an eye mask couldn't solve though.

Excellent location, especially after you discover the ascensor Reina Victoria shortcut up the back of the hill! Very clean, room made up every day. Comfortable bed, super fast WiFi. Top floor kitchen area with free coffee and tea, fridge, microwave, etc and a place to sit with a great view over the city. Laid back atmosphere with really friendly staff, particularly the housekeeper, who repeatedly humoured my attempts to speak broken Spanish. And they let me check out late and keep my room all day when I had an overnight bus in the evening. Overall great value. Would stay again.

There was very little space in our room for luggage and things. But then one can't have everything - other, more spacious rooms had smaller bathrooms :)

The location in a pedestrian street, right in the middle of everything: sights, cafes and restaurants. An excellent place if to want to enjoy the Valparaiso vibe. We loved the clean and airy house with a relaxed atmosphere, music theme, hardwood floors, and - most of all - the roof terrace with sliding windows and the best view in the town! In hot weather it also helped to cool down the house. The terrace is actually a breakfast/dining room with dishes, fridges, a kettle and a microwave. It felt wonderful to sit there in the morning and watch the city waking up and at night enjoying the view illuminated with millions of lights. Currently the hotel does not offer breakfast since there are many cafes around. Alternatively you can buy your croissants and help yourself to the free (instant) coffee or tea of the hotel. I would also like to praise the staff who were always cheerful, friendly and very helpful. We appreciated the opportunity to choose our room and picked a room with the largest bathroom, facing a quiet back street. The rooms were cleaned and towels replaced daily, the shower was excellent and the bed was very comfortable.

All of the rooms are themed around a musician/band which is a cool concept, but wish we could’ve chosen which one we stayed in as we sadly ended up in a MJ one - would’ve much preferred Rolling Stones or Queen! :)

Perfect central location - making it super easy to get around for all of the sightseeing. Beautiful views and lots of great cafes, restaurants, bars, etc nearby. Comfortable room and bed and great shower pressure (this can really vary as you travel through South America so was greatly appreciated). Staff are all super helpful and friendly. They let us keep our bags there after check-in whilst we did some more exploring on the last day.

The hotel is quite open in the middle, so when people come home late you can hear them really loudly, but i also found other guests staying there were not very considerate when it came to noise. Maybe the hotel can put up some signs asking people to keep the noise down after 11pm.

I love the music theme. The Hotel was in a good location, with good views from some of the rooms and from the rooftop. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel is modern and clean.
