This home is centrally located and has a magnificent view of Cerro Castillo. The town is just a short drive down the road as well as the trailhead road for the Cerro Castillo hike. The house has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The beds are comfortable, the shower pressure is great and the kitchen is well stocked with kitchen items. The host Andrew was always available to answer any questions. The home is located in a private setting with only one neighbor.

    Nothing

Casa la Lenga is beautifully designed, constructed, furnished and decorated, which makes for a super comfortable and relaxing stay. It’s also really well located for hiking in the Cerro Castillo NP and other sightseeing, easy to get to from the Careterra Austral and close to town - ideal! Add to that the gorgeous views, from all the rooms, of the surrounding mountains, valleys etc. All in all, a place we wished we could have stayed for longer. Andres is a great host too; he helped us figure out which hike would be best for a hot, windy day (Neo Zelandes) Thanks Andres - we hope to be back someday.

A warm and cosy cabin with incredible views.

We had to leave after two days to start our homeward journey.

The location of the Casa La Lenga cabin is amazing, as the view is 360 degrees of nature. The main feature of the living room is an enormous 3m x 3m window with a view of Villa Cerro Castille, so this is the ever-present backdrop. The cabin is well designed and constructed from wood with a lot of attention to detail, and the insulation kept us very warm. The host gave us great advice about local walks and pointed us in the direction of Laguna Duff - this was the best trek of our entire stay in Patagonia. I would recommend this if you want somewhere nice and cosy to stay with amazing views.

Absolutely beautiful casa with a stunning view of the mountains, exceptional host.

We were so lucky to find the beautiful Casa La Lenga and felt very honoured to be the first guests! It has an amazing location with a stunning view of the Cerro Castillo massif, yet easy access to the lovely little town of Villa Cerro Castillo and the nearby national park. It's an exceptional property, recently built, and beautifully furnished, all very authentic and well thought out. The open plan layout works very well and revolves around the huge picture window framing the beautiful mountain view. The owner Andres (an architect who designed and oversaw the building of it) was very welcoming and friendly, and took the time to show us round the property and tell us about the area and national park, suggesting what we could do for our short time there. He was very communicative right from the initial booking to after our stay, and very helpful with any questions we had and directions to the property, and even researched which restaurants were open during our stay. We loved it, the only downside being we couldn't stay for longer. Hope to be back one day!
