How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Our room was in the internal patio area and we were kept awake by people up and outside until the early hours. We had to get up very early and felt tired for a couple of days due to lack of sleep.
The location was great for us, our room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. We had 2 tours and the little packed breakfast was great. We were also able to cook and store food in the communal fridge. The staff we met were lovely.

The ventilation in the bathroom was pretty loud and the entrance to our room was mostly blocked by cars that were parked on the property, but nothing really to complain about.
Nice and clean room, very good breakfast and a nice garden. The location felt safe in the evening. It's a 20 minute walk to Barrio Italia, for other destinations it might be best to take an Uber.

If you're planning to sleep in after 9 am, I would suggest to get a room away from the breakfast area.
Bed was very comfortable, and I appreciate the parking space. The hosts were amazing and loved the family spirit. The location is excellent and the area is very safe.

The breakfast was lovely with pancakes, cheese and ham toastiest, fruit, coffee etc. Room 11 had a table and chairs in the room and the courtyard is a nice place to sit and chill. Very safe neighbourhood where you can walk around with lots of places to eat or drink.

Bicycles tours around the city, cerro San Cristobal or Sky Centre
Cozy house, really good breakfast, I didn't notice a difference of being at home and being on Casa Di Patti. The staff and facilities really make you feel like if you were at home. You can cook whenever you want and that makes a huge difference, I would definitely come back.

though asking twice, there was no-one on premises when I came back to collect my stored luggage. luckily the code was unchanged, as no one came in the 30 mins I was repacking.

Realy good breakfast. We were wondered. Fully enough for us. And days, when we left apartment before breakfast, Patricia prepared some breakfast to take away! :) It is fully equiped kitchen and possible to make meal for yourself. Good partio, where possible to spend evening time and have a glass of wine.

We loved our stay here, Patricia was a warm and welcoming host who made our stay very comfortable. Bed was very comfortable, rooms and bathrooms very clean with a lovely hot shower. Delicious breakfast each morning and a lovely garden to chill in. We wish we could have stayed longer! We could walk to most places in the city within 20-40 minutes.

they asked us to pay the booking commission fee, I guess they are treating it as an additional fee, etc. not a big deal, still super affordable—but we haven’t had that happen before.

The floor is old (made of wood) and slightly noisy. Because of the price, there´s not much I can complain about. The shared bathroom was clean, the bed was clean, and breakfast was nice.
I was arriving late and I didn´t know what time I would arrived. They sent me the instructions in advance to enter the room without any problem. I reach them in advance and they helped me with all my quiestions.

Sounds does travel as other rooms are close so if anyone comes in late and you are a light sleeper it could wake you. I didn't wake up but hope I didn't wake anyone either as my first night I had to drink so much water I needed to use the WC about 8 times. Sorry!
Location was very convenient. The breakfast was pretty healthy and I always ate well. I liked the AC as it was quite clean.
