How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A few more plug sockets would have been helpful.
Very warm inside, especially needed with the snowy weather. Spacious, very well located and nice lady on reception. Good wifi and fridge.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cabañas Última Esperanza. The two-bedroom apartment was spacious, spotless, and exceptionally well-equipped; everything we needed was provided. The kitchen had all the essentials (coffee machine, microwave, oven, kettle, kitchenware), which made it easy to prepare our own meals. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and well-stocked with towels and a good shower. The apartment was warm and cozy. The reliable heating made it feel like a true home away from home. We also used the laundry facilities, which were convenient and very reasonably priced, a big plus for longer stays. Another great feature was the free parking within the fenced property. We left our rented car there with complete peace of mind. It was also great that they accept credit card payments, which made both check-in smooth and hassle-free. Although meals weren’t included, the fully equipped kitchen more than made up for it. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The shower
The place is very spacious and nice to stay a couple of days. The only thing is that the shower gets very hot or very cold easily and you have to be changing the temperature or shower fast. Overall everything was good, they can even offer you to rent a car with them which was very useful to drive around Torres del Paine

Only one bathroom which was downstairs in an apt which could accommodate 6 persons but for a short stay...it really was a minor inconvenience. Not exactly baby friendly. Some tiles were cracked.
Good location with adequate parking. Comfortable rooms and good sized kitchen with cooking utensils. Good wifi.

Small 2 bedroom townhouse, working heaters, hot showers, good wifi. Small kitchen with large fridge. Nil major complaints, helpful owners, kept luggage after check out, decent location close to town. Cleanliness - can be improved.

Lovely stay. Friendly host, great location, overall a comfortable stay and great base to explore TDP. We stayed in Cabana 4 so parking was a little tricky, had to park vehicle slightly away from us. Walls are quite thin, so could hear lot of noise from neighbours on one night. Living area is a little cramped and sofa could be more comfortable. No toaster.

The price and location were perfect. We stayed in a cabaña and everything we enjoyed in town, including shopping necessities was within walking distance. We rented a car, but never needed it to get around town, just to the parks. The cabaña had a full kitchen with cookware, so we were able to make meals. The space was perfect for our group of 5. The staff were kind and very helpful.

We loved that there were lots of beds that the kitchen facilities were very well equipped, the best we found. We had everything we needed to make food for our family—nothing lacking. We left the spacious table. It is great for group. The only thing that could be a little better is having more than one bathroom since it’s perfect for larger groups. That said, we were extremely satisfied!
