Super cosy and the staff are very friendly. The associated coffee place and Peruvian restaurant is very atmospheric. The centre of Puerto Varas is very nearby, just a short walk down the hill. The included breakfast is good and perfectly balanced: a yoghurt with cereals, toasties or scrambled egg, a coffee or tea and cake.

As a solo, female traveler and for the price, the room was great. With two people, or a larger person, the room and bathroom might feel a little tight if you plan on spending time in the room.

Conveniently located to center of town but located on a quiet street. I was leaving before breakfast started and they packed a bag for me to take in the morning, which was very sweet.

This boutique hotel is lovely and the rooms are comfy and spacious. The whole place is decorated nicely. Location is excellent. 2 blocks to the plaza and great bakeries, coffee shops, and restaurants right near by. The manager went above and beyond helping and making sure my stay was perfect. Highly recommend.

The location was convenient, and we appreciated the gated, off-street parking. However, we were surprised by the amount of traffic on this residential street. If you’re tall, watch your head going down the stairs - there’s not much clearance at the bottom!

I found the bed to be spectacularly comfortable with a very thick covers. The shower definitely had hot water... but then I woke up before everyone else so maybe I used it all up. Ha!

Property is directly on a main road with lots of traffic passing most of the night so we got very little sleep.

Room was on a very busy road with traffic all night long. Walls and ceilings were paper thin, so you could hear everything from other rooms. As a result slept terribly. Breakfast was average, wouldn't serve us eggs because we only stayed one night.

The stay was really expensive for the amenities Casa&Alma offered to us. The bathroom was really small with a bad shower and low quality toilet. The breakfast was really poor

We had trouble getting into the apartment (unclear instructions and no body to talk to) and the bathroom had no toilet paper (this issue was rectified after three hours). There are better options for hotel accommodation on the same street.

Shared bathroom, CAT in hallway, cat hair on hostess sweater, narrow stair treads on twisty staircase. So bad we left and got a place down the street.

We left the premises for our one full day to explore the surrounding area. We left our room window locked with closed blinds, and our room door locked. The premises has a code locked front door. Paulo, who was pleasant, had assured us it was a safe premises. On our return, the room had been tidied, the bed made. However the window was now wide open with the blinds up. In the morning, my husband had left his phone on the bedside table tucked into some folded black clothing. On our return, the phone was gone. We are very unhappy about the disregard for our security. Paulo insisted that the cleaner was supervised and it is protocol for the cleaner to face their opened backpack towards a security camera upon entry and leaving. This does not present as a very thorough security process. The fact is, the phone was in the locked room when we left the room, on our return it was not. Our room was locked up in every way when we left, on our return it was not. Subsequently we had to spend several hours contacting our overseas phone service provider and our banks at home to cancel the phone and therefore also block access to bank accounts. This has meant for the remainder of our holiday we are limited to one means of payment, whereas we had several sources prior to this theft. Paulo apologised for the inconvenience, expressed that she was also upset, and offered that the Police could access the security camera ( which of course was not footage from within our room). Due to a busy Summer festival weekend, naturally the Police were very busy. All we could do was report the facts. This would have been a different review had this theft not occurred.

Paulo greeted us pleasantly. The location was fine for walking around. The bed was fine.
