Sunny Beach Lodge is a wee gem. It's right on the beach, a self contained set up. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome with free shuttle when you arrive, warm greetings, free bikes & kayaks. We stayed 3 nights & would have easily stayed longer. It was so handy to the shops too.

Could not have been any better - location (right on the beach, amazing sunset, 2 convenience stores right next door), accommodation (had everything a family of 4 needs), kayaks, bikes - all free to use, friendly neighbours and, of course, the most amazing host - Niki, who went well over and beyond to help us with anything we wanted to know, book or find. Thank you Niki, you made our 25th anniversary memorable!

Spent 2nights and was amazing. All you need on the site, beachfront, bicycles and swim gear. Then Nikki is very nice and can provide anything you need, informations about the island and scooter as well.

The room is very big and clean! The host is really nice! They offer free airport pickup service. Also, all kind of facilities are perfect. You can rent scooter, this is very convenient!

Location, staff and communication were great. Scooters were booked by Niki with no issues and any queries we had were responded promptly to. Jeremiah was also on hand to assist and the transfers from/to airport with him was friendly, punctual and informative. Great place to stay with my teenage boys who could venture out safely on the cycles provided by SBL or walk to the nearby shops. Wifi connectivity was excellent. Value for money for the budget conscious family 🙂

Sunny Beach Lodge was awesome! As a solo traveller, it was my first time coming to Aitutaki. I was picked up from the airport, given a little tour of the town centre and then dropped off at the lodge. My bungalow on the beach was AMAZING. It is a peaceful spot away from the main road, and you can watch the sunset from the beachfront. The room is great, had everything I needed at a great price: towels, beach towels, very comfortable bed, jug, air conditioning & fan, outside loungers. There are kayaks and bicycles to use, and it was easy to organise a scooter through the hosts, as well as a lagoon tour for me. The lodge is an easy walking distance to an ATM, 24/7 supermarket, and takeaways/ food and breakfast spots. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and my overall trip to Aitutaki. The people are sooooo lovely (you'll be saying hi to everyone). I felt really safe and well looked after, and it really is paradise. Take your time and enjoy all that's on the island. I was really impressed with the amazing food and would absolutely recommend doing a lagoon tour (shout out to Aitutaki Adventures)!!

Awesome and affordable place to stay. Niki is a fantastic host who is very kind and detail oriented. Location is superb, rooms are spacious and clean. Free bikes, kayaks, pick up from the airport. Internet works great in the rooms. I could’ve stayed for weeks in that little paradise.

What an awesome place! Room was huge, very clean and had everything you need (microwave, 2 fans, cooking equipment). In addition there was unlimited starling WiFi and a new TV set up with Netflix and more. Loved it, especially on a rainy day. Some of the equipment in the room was brand new (kitchen stove, fan with remote). Niki, the owner, really cares! He also organised a lagoon cruise and provides Kayaks and bicycles for free. It is directly on the beach and you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. Shopping facilities are in walking distance. I had an extraordinary stay! Thank you so much for everything Niki! Loved it!

The property was nice & clean - with basic amneties which was we all we needed , rooms were spacious & lots of room to move around , beds were comfortable- Nikki was helpful and always replied to our messages , the grocery store & car rental is right next door - beach is perfect for relaxing ..would definitely stay again xx

There was a bit of noise coming from the people next door, not a problem of the accommodation itself. Our TV speaker did not work well.

Niki is a fabulous host, meeting all of our needs. He picked us up from the airport and showed us the features of the island on the way to our unit and beyond including places to eat etc. He organised a motorbike for us and responded to all messages, very attentive. Thank you Niki

Some of the rooms were a bit dated, but that is expected with the price point.

Clean and comfortable place with nice charm. Nicky the owner is a great host and goes above and beyond for his guests. Would recommend.
