Loved the location and the view from our deck. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

We were in bungalow 1. The neighbors rubbish dump was adjacent to our bungalow so an unpleasant smell of rotting food and/ or fish was evident any time we were on the beach or our deck. Even after burning the smell was still there. The ceiling fan did not work. The air conditioning unit could not be adjusted. It could only be either quite cold or off.

Loved the view from the room, helpful staff. A compendium of information about meals, what is available and when, things to do etc would be useful. I didn't know about breakfast and dinners until I asked

Facecloth looked like an old rag. Hotplate was very slow. Fortunately I was only cooking noodles

Location to beach. Quality of beach and especially the deep water in front of the bungalows.

The cocktails at the bar did not seem to have much alcohol in them. Almost like they were watered down.

Location, beautiful outlook, good swimming and snorkelling right out the front.

Tired, definitely time for a refurb…But then it would cost a lot more!

Fantastic location right on the beach. Helpful staff and a great bungalow.

Neighbours a little noisy at times, but it was happy noise.

Knew the location well and what place was like so it definitely met expectations. Some recent renovations done on decks which was great as they're a good size and sheltered from the rain and direct sunshine now. Great wooden (light) outdoor furniture for enjoying the deck and easy enough to move indoors when the weather is not so kind, plenty of room to set up a romantic dining spot indoors. Interiors need some work, looking rather tired, bathroom and kitchen floor rotten in places so some cracked floor tiles and very spongy underfoot outside the shower! Bed left a bit to be desired... However completely livable. Kitchenette is basic but quite adequate for 2 people to self cater, which we did most nights. Bar sized fridge (with great little freezer box for making ice (take trays) with a 1.5L of water provided on arrival (you can fill your water bottles at the local UV Filter filling stations, open 7am - 6pm daily - water comes out quite hot so needs chilling). Microwave, toaster, electric jug, 2 element portable cook top, fry pan, decent size pot, 2 of everything - dinner plate, side plate, bowl, cutlery, wine glass, coffee mug. Great coffee plunger and nice selection of teas provided, including chamomile. we took our own ground coffee but they did provide some instant sachets. Breakfast was lovely and delivered at around 8am daily. Cereal, fresh tropical fruit, milk, large carafe of juice, 4 x slices fresh bread for toasting with real butter and preserves. Full housekeeping service every second day, beach towels included along with toiletries and massive bath towels! Staff are amazing, super friendly and helpful. Can't fault them on cleanliness! Airport transfer at no cost, very accommodating when we made our own plans for the last day and they just met us at the airport with our bags. If you're looking for friendly, warm, basic but entirely clean and adequate self catered living, this is a great spot.

Solar wasn’t up to the job if overcast or cool so we had a lot of cold showers, not ideal when weather was rather cool and we were cold from swimming or a cold evening scooter ride.

Location is good and transfer to and from airport was provided.

The bed was terrible - the 2 single mattresses were sitting on top of a cheap metal folding frame that wasn't large enough so the sides of the mattresses were overhanging and provide no support at all. The shower head in one of our two bungalows was terrible, with only 6 little sprays coming out. No hot water one morning - was told by staff they use solar and it was overcast so no hot water!! Face washer looks like an old rag.

The location is fantastic, right in between Ootu and town so you can either way for most things easily. The best snorkelling spot is just up the beach at the end of the old runway (walk up the beach). There is a hollow in the sand along the beach for about 100 metres which is right outside Paradise Cove so you can have a deep swim there which is nice. The view across the reef from the rooms is unbeatable. The rooms need a lot of work, and if you are precious about this then it is not for you. But, they are honest about that on their site so if you can suck that up, accept that they are old and not in great shape then you'll be fine. The positives are the beds were comfortable, it has what you need, and once you are sitting on the deck, drink in hand looking out to the water through palm trees you are in heaven. Lifts to and from the airport were a nice touch, and breakfast in bed was really sweet (just make sure when you give people porridge sachet that need the microwave, that they are one of the units that has a microwave).

It was sometimes hard to find someone if you needed something, and if something is broken like the loungers get rid of them off the beach - it looks awful because they are clearly broken.

Good Breakfast, excellent location on beach. Very helpful staff.

Restaurant on site was only available for 2 nights out of 5 Slightly difficult to find alternatives. Units could be due for some renovation. There were extra charges for some facilities eg Kayaks & push bikes. Beach loungers need an maintenance/upgrade.
