The Bungalows are so comfortable, have everything you need for a great holiday and well located. Hosts are amazing, wish we could have stayed longer.

Nothing, no complaints

Beautiful place to visit. Compact and comfortable units. Lovely host support. Right on the beach with shade from coconut palms - loungers were provided. Well located to drive to anywhere on the island - a hired car or scooter is a must. No buses! Would definitely recommend Paparei bungalows.

We would have appreciated brighter lighting for reading in the living room and bedroom. Also the availability of somewhere to hang wet swimwear and towels would have been helpful.

Location was great. Bungalows were tidy and have everything you want! Breakfast was perfect, and there was even enough for a snack later 🤤 Hosts were lovely and friendly! Wished we stayed longer!

Personalised and lovely service by the hosts, who anticipated many of our needs and helped us with towel hire, airport transfers etc. The property has filtered and treated tap water and an electric stove which we made good use of. Meitaki maata!

Host was amazingly helpful and organised transfers to and from the airport. If you find more to ask for, the problem is you. Location was amazing. Paradise!

Having to leave.....

We loved everything about our stay. It was tranquil with sunsets to die for. Very clean with all the facilities you needed. Spacious & Frances & Vicki were so helpful. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Nothing really.

We had the most wonderful time at Paparei Beachfront Bungalows. Vicky and Peter were the nicest hosts you can imagine. The bungalow was very clean, the bed was so comfy, delicious breakfast and the view…stunning! There are hammocks right at the beach. You can chill out in a hammock and watch the beautiful sunset. There is a great place for dinner just across the road, it’s called Wokkai. The food was delicious!

Nice layout. Clean & tidy. Lovely hosts.

Airflow is blocked by the tree in front of the bungalow. It meant we couldn’t use the balcony because it was a heat trap. Also, the tree is blocking the direct view to the beach which wasn’t disclosed on booking. Photos just show the beach with no blockage of view.

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay at Paparei. The location and setting is spectacular, calm and private, with only one other bungalow beside you. The staff and owners are very kind and helpful e.g. calling a restaurant to book for us (Resort Tava'e - very good) and offering their reef shoes (do wear these in the water out front). The water directly out front was very calm when we were there, but also a bit murky as a result. We recommend taking a boat tour in the lagoon for the best snorkeling. We went with Kia Orana Cruises - great value for money!

Great facilities over all. The bed is a bit firm but comfortable - good to know in case you prefer a softer bed.

Right on the beach. Very private. Friendly welcoming helpful hosts. Walking distance to cafes.

The gardens and beach are beautiful. (The beach did not look good for swimming, though). It was quiet, except for the chickens, of course. There are no dogs, so no dogs barking in the night.

I had to share my accommodation with a big, and I mean big, cockroach, which startled me when I got up in the middle of the night. It scuttled around the kitchen, and later into the bathroom, and was very good at playing hide and seek. There was a gecko, too, (I like geckos), but I don’t think he was any match for this cockroach!

The beach was so beautiful! The location was excellent, total beachfront.The Bungalow was spotless and very comfortable. The banana lounges, shaded by palm trees, right on the beach were great! It felt very private. Our Hosts Vicki & Peter were so helpful, warm & friendly, we were sorry to leave. Thanks for a great stay. Helen & Kevin

We loved it all!

Paparei is a modern villa right on the beach ,nice outdoor deck area and inside it is modern and clean with heaps of thoughtful inclusions. There is a great coffee/ dinner shop only a very short walk from it. Staff are helpful and friendly
