There was nothing to fault, even though we had some rainy days we were still snug and warm on the deck with big comfy chairs. We loved the moko whanau. There were plenty of pillows to find one that suited and blankets which weren’t needed. The AC was great.

This was our home away from home. It had everything we needed and more to make our stay comfortable. The pool is such a well-thought addition to the home, especially when needing a quick cool down in the warm tropics of Rarotonga. Violet and Willie have been amazing hosts with great communication throughout our stay. The location was great as we had planned activities in surrounding districts. As burger connoisseurs, Vili’s burger joint and a gas station is within walking distance, making this the perfect location for us! Our group absolutely loved our stay and agreed will definitely be booking Serene Holiday Home on our next trip to Rarotonga.

I cannot fault anything about this property. This beautiful home is located in a quiet area approximately 100 metres from the main road and just as described, boasts stunning garden and mountain views. A very clean and comfortable property that features a spacious balcony. It is equipped with everything you need including super comfy beds which for us is an important factor and, WIFI that was installed just before we arrived. Wills and Vi are extremely friendly and communication with both of them was effortless. After securing this booking we were offered free accommodation which we declined, and upon arrival at the property it was clear to all of us that we had made the right decision. We travelled as a group of 5, four family members and a friend and we all concluded that we would book this property again when we return.

Just one thing to note is that on the Cook Islands you need to buy wi-fi at the nearest shop and connect it yourself. There is no wi-fi and password at the home but this wasn’t an issue for us as the shop is a short 5 minute walk away. Just so future guests know especially if you’re arriving in late !

The property was perfect for our needs. Very clean and spacious - the garden was huge and the deck was lovely to have our breakfast on. Very responsive host too. Would highly recommend !

Being woken up at 4.30am by all the local roosters (absolutely no fault of the accommodation just the natural Island way lol)

Large private property, safely away from the main road, great for young children, so much space to run around in and play, facilities and all the little extras that were added made it a wonderful accommodation, bbq, multiple sun beds, beautiful outdoor settings, exceptional 360 views, complimentary condiments. Great air flow, that aircon wasn't needed (even though it was available) just an all over outstanding accommodation. Great communication with owners, always replies within a very quick timely manner.

There was no gas in the gas bottle for the BBQ, we didn't realise this until we went to use it close to the end of our stay. The roosters, but hey, it's Rarotonga!

This beautiful home is away from the road, which means it's quiet, apart from the wandering roosters 🤣 We were given clear instructions on how to find the house and how to access it once we arrived, payment process was also straightforward. There was a welcome pack, which included a large bottle of water, cereal, and cartons of milk, which was awesome. It is great to have the use of a washing machine, and there's also a dryer if desperate. It was so nice meeting Willie on our 2nd day who dropped off a pawpaw, yum! 😋 The house is only a couple of years old, so it is really lovely and modern, beautiful bathroom with a rainfall shower head. Loved the sun loungers on the huge deck. We were glad there were extra blankets as it was a bit chilly the first two nights. Also only a few minutes walk to the nearest bus stop and also the closest convenience store.

It was great all around. Only thing I didn’t think to bring was a hair dryer but that’s all.

The house had everything you needed and more. Was comfortable and modern. Easy to find with the instructions given. Lovely front lawn for activities and spacious house. Willie was lovely and so helpful! Especially when we got a flat battery on our hire car - he came straight away. Very impressed!

We stayed at Serena holiday home for a week.The house is well-equipped with everything you need. It was very clean and comfortable. The hosts are very helpful and easy to communicate with. The house is located not far from a popular Muri beach, supermarket, bus stop and a great burger place, which was very convenient. The neighbors were also very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay at Serene holiday home aging!

Indoor dining was a bit lacking for when it's not the best conditions for outside. The local dogs can be intimidating especially at night time they roam around and can be territorial, one stole my shoe over night from off our varandah and I had to stealthy get it back after looking everywhere for it. Kinda funny on reflection. But does mean at night time if you want to get clothes up or off the clothes line for example or it can be quite scary.

Lots of space for a larger family, great deck with Weber bbq. Comfortable beds and outdoor dining. Shower was roomy, tiled really nice. Loved having a washing machine and dryer too. Property itself is really spacious and secluded with a beautiful backdrop of the mountains. Serene is an accurate description.

this accommodation is outstanding for a very reasonable price. beautiful scenery surrounded by farming lands, neighbours are far enough away to feel like you have your own little slice of paradise surrounded by flowers and grass for the kids to run around on. close enough to hear the ocean in the night and feel the breeze on the huge deck, fabulous communications from the owners who were extremely accommodating to our needs, wifi is easy to purchase from the KAPS (shops are walking distance) so the kids could chill out to some Netflix after a long day in the sun exploring the reefs. beautiful bathroom and styling through out, easy to keep clean and tidy, comfy beds, aircon is available for a small extra cost which was a bonus because we didn't think there was any aircon when we booked and it came in handy on hot nights and the more humid days..... take a minute to look up at the stars on a clear night it is something we dont get to see back home it is stunning too. I could go on about how great our accommodation was, all our families that came to visit thought ours was the best so ill leave it at that we will book here again, 100%
