There was no lift so we had to ask the staff to help carry our suitcases up to the second floor. There was no help carrying them down the next morning. There was loud music coming from the bar below until after midnight. At 9 am we had a knock on the door to remind us check out was 9 am.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Everything was clean and tidy . We also appreciated the welcome drink on arrival

Some members of my group had some mobility challenges and the stairs were very hard for them (but it is only three levels). I loved that the bathtubs were so deep—but for short people with bad knees—the tub was too difficult to get in and out. If you have no difficulties with stairs or mobility challenges I recommend a different option)

The rooms were quiet and so clean! Great location for going to see the falls and restaurants were so close. The staff was great—Irene was so gracious and wonderful to work with—it’s clear that she has a passion for making it a wonderful experience for travelers!

The smoking in the bar and outside of the bar. Even though there was no smoking in the hotel the smell was pretty strong in the hallway and up to the stairs.

German was the main language but they tried hard to speak English. Location was great only a short distance to the falls.and the bus stopped across the street. Supermarket was a 5 minute walk away. We found it easy to get around.

We could not have breakfast because there is no gluten free option (I received a refund - which is greatly appreciated). The room is nice but the curtain was torn and without the option of darkening. The TV was connected by electrical cables on the floor. And we had to move the refrigerator to the nearest electricity point. There is no elevator to the room.

the location - not far from the waterfall walking by foot. There is a free public parking space for the night in the other side of the road.

The rooms are officially non-smoker, but the restaurant below is very much smoky, as it is for smokers, and the smell finds its way through the staircase. It is bad that one cannot book and secure a parking in advance; and the parking as such required skills to ''shoehoorn'' any serious car. Window was toward the parking; and the place may get hot in real summer.

Very large room with room with abundant and large storage facilities and very little fridge and small bathroom. It is in Switzerland, of course, and Switzerland is very, very expensive, and so, when compared to othher locations, this one was expensive, too, but when compared to Switzerland, it was at the lower end of the range. The looks of the place weren't truely splendid, but everything fulfilled its purpose.

This place has check-out time 9:00, which is very strange. We accidentally had booked just one person and ended up paying more than 20€ extra compared to normal two person price on booking. Room was also very hot without any a/c nor even cross-draught possibility. When window had to be open there was much noise from church just few tens of meters away ringing bells all night long. Price-quality ratio was extremely poor.

Loud pub underneath, smell of smoke everywhere, awful beds. I booked a private double room and it wasn’t worth the money at all even if it is in Switzerland. I’d recommend to pay a little bit extra and get a hotel.

Nighttime little noisy because of nightlife however I was quite tired after too much walking or hiking. No lift. The lobby stinked smoking smell.

Lot of restaurants around and very nearby and walkable to station and Rheinfalls, complimentary drinks and friendly staffs tried to speak in English. Spacious room and nice shower.

I can’t fault it. It wasn’t the Ritz or fancy but for the price it was great.

The location was great for the train station and Rhine fall and some beautiful trails along the river. The room was bright and cheerful spotlessly clean. For the price I’d definitely stay again. The staff were super friendly too.

Had a fantastic stay! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the cozy smoking bar downstairs made for a great place to relax.
