The bed is too short, and has a wooden box around the mattress. So my feet were always digging into a hard edge - not comfortable. The room in general was much smaller than I expected from the pictures. No airco, no fridge.

The staff was the highlight, as well as the very tasty breakfast (the homemade jams were to die for). The sound of the nearby stream was very nice and calming.

I spent three nights at Hotel Curuna and it was exactly what I needed: a simple, comfortable, and well-located place to sleep in Scuol while exploring the beautiful Lower Engadine during the day. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast in the morning was very good. I can totally recommend this place!

The bathrooms could do with a makeover.

Nice little hotel at the end of the town center with quirky details. The breakfast provides options, including vegan and vegetarian. The WiFi does its job and parking is available free of charge. The staff is friendly, always smiling and helpful. We would recommend the hotel for everyone looking to find individual charm over big hotel chains, which look the same everywhere. The restaurant Chamonna down the road provides friendly service and hearty local cusine.

The hotel smells really good and has a comfortable vibe. The hoteliers use unobtrusive incense in several places. The bed in my single room was spacious and very comfy, as were the lines and duvets. Other than that, the hotel was especially clean and the staff amazingly friendly and helpful. Important note: there is no restaurant and no food served other than breakfast on site. This hotel is a "Garni", a type of B'n'B. The breakfast was simple but sufficient, and included vegetarian and vegan options like a good selection of cheeses, fruits, breakfast cereals, vegan chai pudding, and milk alternatives.

Bathrooms are functional, well maintained, but aesthetically dated.

I have stayed here twice now, and each time it was great! The staff are extremely friendly, and accommodating to late check-in (if warned in advance!). The rooms are fairly basic but clean and often with nice views of the mountains. The breakfast is great - a good selection of breads, cheeses, and other things. Whole day access to the breakfast room with unlimited tea and coffee is a nice touch. Would be pleased to return again in the future!

The hotel does not have an elevator for which reason it is a 2* I guess. Otherwise everything is perfect. Staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. There is a free parking space.

The only recommendation we could make was to have a more flexible check-in time. We had been hiking all morning and it would have been nice to check-in mid afternoon or at least have someone at the front desk when we arrived. Other than that, we very much enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Curuna. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the balcony that overlooked the street. Another added plus was the 20% discount to the local therm along with a handy beach bag of towels hanging on the door to use after soaking. Breakfast was excellent as well. We would highly recommend Hotel Curuna to other travelers.

Convenient location in a beautiful part of the Engadine. Room was fine, bed comfortable. Although the hotel is right on the road, there was no appreciable traffic noise at night (only the soothing noise of the adjacent river 😄). Free all-day tea and coffee in the breakfast area was a nice touch. Parking just across the road, free for hotel guests. Guest card gets you free use of public transport (the buses can also carry bikes), cable car etc.. Breakfast great.

Great central location in the middle of the village. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Good breakfast, and a plus for me was that they serve coffee/tea in the breakfast room during the day where you can also sit.
