The private room was quiet and comfortable bathroom looks newly updated. Because of a change in hiking plans the following day we needed a stay for a second night and although they were booked we were able to get a room in the dorm spaces that night. The staff was friendly and included breakfast was a perk for hikers!

Gluten and dairy free options were limited. Would be good if the bed could be separated to make twin room rather than boxed in double bed - 2 men sharing is not ideal in a double bed but it was fine for one night.

Great place for a holiday weekend trip. It is not as close to the city center as other places but it is still close enough to not feel that much the difference. On the plus side of being on the outskirts is that you have very restful quiet nights. It was spacious and clean. Friendly staff. Okay breakfast. Great cappuccino.

The cost is high, but for Switzerland it was quite fine. So in general nothing bad to mention.

Location is perfect. The view from the room was amazing. The breakfast was also fine. Not so big, but enough. The cappuccino was very good! The personal was also very friendly and kind.

Glass bathroom doors! The toilet and shower were behind a wall but the door is glass and leaves little privacy. There also wasnt an option for twin beds and wasn't any milk pods to use for tea or coffee

The room was big with a nice view of the mountains. The staff were friendly and helpful. I loved that you got a free bus pass for the duration of your stay, much easier than driving into town.

Breakfast was very poor. So we asked for omelette as there was basically nothing to eat as such at the provided variety. We were given Omelettes but were not even told that this is not included into breakfast cost. Upon check out the lady from the breakfast approached us and asked to pay 24 franks additionally for these 2 omelettes which was very surprising and totally unexpected

I was a late booking and the only space on offer was in 6 bed mixed dorm. Comfortable bed but unfortunately a male roommate had the worst snoring problem I have ever encountered. I didn’t get a wink of sleep. I would stay here again but only if I could get a single room.

Dinner menu was good (not inc in price). Good choices for breakfast buffet. Beautiful setting and easily reached by bus from the station. The communal wash room and small kitchen were lovely and clean. Plenty of hot water.

Its a bit far from main Grindelwald town and only accessible by bus till 7pm in evening. I think it is disappointing because after that you have to walk or hire a taxi which is very expensive

There is no fridge in the room. (But you can use the fridge in the kitchen)

The location is just in front of the bus station. (The latest bus is around 6.30 p.m. departure at the Grindelwald Terminal) The view is amazing. The staff members are kind. They were all willing to answer my questions.
