The property doesn’t have parking in front; you have to leave the car in a car park on a parallel road, which requires payment during working days and Saturday daytime (at time of writing this was CHF15 a day), and which is not as near as it looks because you have to cross the train tracks. Another point is that breakfast was extra, (CHF19 pp), which, because of the high price already paid for the room we felt was rather excessive. Breakfast is not served at the property itself (it has no dining room or reception), but at a sister hotel down the road, the Beau Séjour.

It’s a lovely, freestanding building with a nice façade and the back faces the lake. Our room (no. 9) was a loft apartment, on the third floor. It had a balcony with a partial lake view. The room was very spacious with the bed at one end and the bathroom at the other. There was also a sofa, a fridge and minibar (free, and restocked daily), and tea and coffee-making facilities. The room was bright and modern. Self check-in was smooth.

Shower curtain too flimsy, would stick to us and allowed considerable amounts of water on the floor. No extra toilet paper in the room, flies due to no screens.

Simple, clean, in a very nice area, easy walk to stores and restaurants. We liked the open space of the room and great breeze when the windows were open and slept very well, mattress very supportive.

It is a pity that the location of the hotel is slightly far from the city central, which is about 5 minutes away with bus. There is no elevator available so travelers with large suitcases need to take this into consideration.

The virtual receptionists were very responsive and helped me with check-ins in few minutes. Self check-in and out are simple to navigate. Staff are well responding to queries of switching rooms. Views in the room not so fancy but better than nothing and photos on website well represents what you can get. The room is very clean and refresh, ventilation and cooling are both provided (which is rare across my stays with other private hosts). Lighings are ample in the room and not dark in cloudy and rainy days. Minibar is provided with a range of non-alchoholic and alchoholic beverages and topped up on a daily basis.

The self check-in was slightly confusing but the staff were really helpful. Make sure you have a working phone number/SIM card to call them if need be!

Well located, next to the beautiful lake and only a short walk or bus ride (free with the visitors pass) to the centre and train station. It was clean and the facilities were modern, and I loved the included mini bar that was stocked up each day! The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast at the neighbouring hotel (19CHF/day) was excellent.

The property itself is very nice and the rooms are well prepared also. Bathroom is clean and modern along with comfortable bed. Location is great you can just walk around the back of the properly and along the lake front path into Lucerne. 10 mins max with lots of nice restaurants and bars along the way.

While we appreciated that the location is outside of the busy downtown area, the downside was the very scarce dining options nearby. It was a moderate walk to cafes and restaurants.

Room was comfortable and clean with quality linens. We had a maintenance issue that was timely resolved. Located just outside the busy downtown area on a beautiful stretch of the lake that was easily accessed. Close to the Transport Museum, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Museum was also the closest cafe we found for morning coffee and pastries. Parking arrangements and check-in process were smooth.

The check in was appalling. It was self-check in, but the hotel had changed the door code without telling us what the new code was. Fortunately, some other guests who knew the new code let us in.

From the arrival to the departure everything went extremely smooth and with the highest care. The location is in a very nice area with close distance to the city and boat harbour. The parking across the street was convenient. The room had everything you need with an amazing view of the lake.
