Excellent location, clean rooms, comfortable beds, helpful staff

Great location! Next to the central station and trams for the whole city. Very clean, great breakfast and very good restaurant in the hotel. We had very quiet room and comfortable beds. There are even two pillows so you can choose which one is better for you.

We had a big spacious room with view to the train station. The beds were extremely comfortable, and breakfast was great. The parking right below the hotel was very convinient. And it is a short ride to Basel airport.

I can't think of anything at all.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The facilities were extremely good, air con and very comfortable beds and excellent bathroom facilities, all very clean. Breakfast had a wide variety on offer and again very good service. Location was brilliant, as all hotels in the area offer free local transport, it's closeness to the station tram and bus stops were invaluable for getting around. We had rebooked here at the end of our stay as one of our hotels in Lucerne was not at a good level so decided to come back here and explore more of Basel which we are glad we did. Lucerne might be pretty but it is packed with tourists and Basel has plenty to see and do and not so full of tourists at all, even in August. This hotel is a perfect base and in my job in the travel industry I will be back again. Vielen dank Hotel Victoria.😊

Just a note- the location is excellent for the train station, not so much for the center of town. It's still only a 10 minute walk.

The hotel was lovely and very grand. Staff were nice and food was lovely.

We love the location. Across the train station, bus and trams. The staff are very friendly, our room is so nice and comfortable and the price is reasonable.

I didn’t like feeling the vibration of teams going by. I wish AC would have been better. It was very hot outside and AC in room was not great.

The location was excellent, right next to the train station. Easy to get around in Basel. The buffet breakfast had a tremendous amount of options & was very good.

Our room was in the annexe, adjoined to main hotel building. Accessed via a very hot glass corridor.

Excellent breakfast choice, including freshly cooked omelettes to order. Location superb if using train to Basel main station. 1min walk from main entrance. Also close to trams into centre of city. Helpful staff at reception on check in gave us passes to use for the trams, which we made use of even though we only had half a day to explore.

The rooms are in a quiet location with birds chirping and face a green inner courtyard, although the hotel is located on the noisy square at the entrance to Basel's train station. The cleanliness is absolutely perfect. The welcoming staff responds to every request and always with a smile and a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The Basel card is great. The breakfast is of a high standard with an emphasis on fresh, local and healthy food Variety and very tasty. Thank you very much.

They have their own carpark with a security gate, which is within the train station car park. Very good. They have so many varieties for breakfast. Next time i will stay here again.
