The landlady was very nice and helpful. This hotel’s location is very convenient right next to the railway station, and with a beautiful view of the lake. It has a “cinema” room downstairs where you can have a beer and talk to your friends without disturbing others. Excellent breakfast with a good selection of bread, cheese, ham, muesli, egg made to order.

The only thing to mention is the shared bathrooms. The bathrooms themselves were very clean, spacious and very nice. I never met any other person on the way there.

The location at the lake is stunning and the complete house is a bijou! Everything is very clean and made with love. The rooms are spacious and the bed is amazingly comfortable. The breakfast is swiss style, very delicious with high quality foods and drinks. The owner is very friendly and always there for a talk or recommendations if needed.

Location-right opposite the lake with excellent views of the lake from our bed room window .Theatre room so we could connect to Netflix if we wanted .Supply of wines beers and snacks if we wanted -Hostess was really friendly and was more than happy to see to out every need .Couldn’t have asked for more .And it’s right opposite the station.

Just a lovely location and with great views. Verena was very attentive and friendly and runs a high quality establishment with customer needs in mind. I was too hot with the duvet provided so she replaced with lighter version which really helped. Lots of choice for breakfast!

While the walls were thick and barely anything creaked, there are still people who don't know how to close doors, walk down a flight of stairs, or keep their voices down while in their room, all essential manners in tight quarters. That said, we were able to sleep well once everyone went to sleep.

The location on the lake in the centre of Sachseln was ideal. The area is quiet. The inn itself was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. All details - robes to use the shared bathrooms, towels to go for a dip in the lake, as well as extra toiletry items - were thoroughly thought out. Finally, a coffee machine to make tea or coffee at any hour was available in the breakfast room. As for the breakfast itself, it contained all we needed, including a beautiful fruit salad, something that is too often missing. Yogourts, bread, cheese,s meat, and eggs set us off adequately for the day's hike.
