Dear Jan, I appreciate very much your review. I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay with me and that you particularly liked the breakfast buffet. I am a little perplexed by the 7.5 points for the facilities. Unfortunately, you do not mention what you felt was lacking. The price/performance ratio is a difficult thing: You know, value is something very personal. What feels like a good deal to one person might feel different to someone else — it’s all about what matters most to you. It’s a bit like with cars: some people just want something that gets them from A to B, while others are happy to spend more for extra comfort or style. Dear Valerie, Thank you for your review of my offer and services. I can only too well understand your disappointment, because what could be nicer than enjoying a delicious meal in a cosy and charming ambience. My focus is on offering bed and breakfast. I love to provide dinner for groups of 8 people or more and with advance reservation. For (hopefully) understandable reasons, I can't spontaneously conjure up a delicious dinner; This includes planning, grocery shopping, cooking and service - combined with organisation and a considerable investment of time. Dear Fareed, what a wonderful evaluation! Thank you very much. You are right: My house is a family residential home and historically restored - not as a hotel but as a family home. It is my great ambition that my guests feel as comfortable as possible. When you visit friends, you often have to share a private bathroom. However, there are no private items in my bathrooms, so it is a rather neutral place. It was a great pleasure for me to welcome you and your family and to spoil you with a typical Swiss breakfast buffet. The fact that you enjoyed this proved your cosmopolitan and experienced travellers' attitude. I would be delighted to see you again on another occasion. Dear Dave, I really appreciate your review with the complementary comment. I was impressed to learn that you rode alone across Europe on a motorcycle and were able to gather countless sensory impressions this way. If you choose my beautiful guest house, you accept to be like friends in a big family house and share the bathrooms with the other guests. I am aware that this is unusual for most guests. When I set up the house, I made sure that maximum privacy was still maintained. You have already confirmed this to me during the stay. There are things that I unfortunately can not change. Providing a thinner comforter, on the other hand, was not a problem. I would be very happy to welcome and pamper you again at the next opportunity. Yours Verena (host)

Dear Christian, What more can I say? Thank you so much for this wonderful review. Whoever books first is lucky and gets a lake view. You booked spontaneously on the day of arrival and got the last available room. This one does not offer a frontal lake view, but you have an interesting view of the village and our local mountain Stuckli. Another advantage is the quiet location. I hope that you have enjoyed the home vacation; and despite the unfortunate weather situation have experienced many beautiful things on the bike tour. Looking forward to seeing you again.
