Pillows are very flat and only one provided per person. The door in the entry is a beautiful stained glass but the light in the hall is on all night so you have to sleep with the doors closed. This is something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper.

Great size apartment, perfect for a family of four. Location is great- easy access to everything. Nice and quiet.

We absolutely loved our stay. The apartment had everything we needed - it was clean, spacious and beautifully furnished. Located in a central area, we were only a short tram ride or walk from all the places we wanted to visit. Delphine was extremely accommodating and communication was quick and easy.

Totally not a fault of the owner, but there is no lift, so it could be a challenge to get to the 2nd floor with heavy bags. A small note: the shampoo/shower gel could be filled a bit more.

Great, spacious and stylish apartments with everything you might need - even for a longer stay. It has 2 separate bedrooms and a large dining room as well as bathroom, toilet and kitchen. Check-in instructions are very thorough. 15 min walk to the centrum.

I had difficulty accessing the key from the lockbox. Although instructions were given to pull down the front of the lockbox after entering the code (as it doesn't open up automatically), I could not open it after multiple attempts of entering the correct code. Eventually I followed the instructions for what to do if you cant access the keys, and rang the number provided. This got me onto the cleaner - the owner living in a different country and totally different time zone. Unfortunately the cleaner did not speak English, so communication was next to impossible. Luckily for me, a shop owner from one of the ground story shops, tried to help me and convinced me to try the code another time. This time I jiggled the face of the lockbox in the right way as to make it open. It seems clear to me that - from the detailed instructions on how to open the lockbox and what to do if you cant - that I am not the first to have had problems with it, and the fact that I had multiple failed attempts suggests that maybe it needs to be replaced with something simpler and more reliable. Not being able to get in , in a timely fashion is one of my biggest fears in this style of accommodation, and if the owner is going to be in a different country, then the process needs to be foolproof. Realistically this caused no more than a 15 minute delay for us, and as mentioned above, once inside the apartment itself was superb.

This was a very well appointed, large and luxurious apartment - the best we stayed in for the duration of our 5 week trip across the Balkans and Italy. It was in a quiet location, with balconies overlooking the street and also the courtyard. Having a washing machine was appreciated, and the kitchen, bedroom & bathroom had everything you could need. The bedroom was very large and the living spaces even larger. The apartment is within easy walking distance of the old town and the lake, and there is a tram stop just outside - as well as a supermarket and multiple restaurant options

I have allergies and am sensitive to smells and pet hair. The couch had what looked like a lot of cat hair all over it. Both nights I stayed I had to take benedryl to help clear my breathing and settle my allergies. The stairs were gorgeous but very tough to navigate even with a tiny suitcase.

The location was wonderful, and convenient to get into the center of the city but located a few tram stops away in a neighborhood. It is charming and historic and it is thoughtfully arranged.

We had some problems checking in, even though we'd communicated with the host 1-2 days in advance of our plans to check in early. Long story short - we arrived, left our suitcases, took the keys, only to find out after we'd already gone out sightseeing that the cleaner needed the key to enter the apartment to clean it, and so we had to cut our plans short and return with the key. This was likely a one-off incident, but I'd advise other bookers to tell the host as early as possible about their plans and receive written confirmation that the plans have been communicated with the cleaner, since the host does not live in Zurich. Apart from that, just very minor suggestions for improvement - I'd recommend replacing the cushions in the living room which are leaking and leaving tiny fibres all over the couch and rug. Detergent for the washer would also have been super appreciated!

Superb location, walking distance (~10-15 minutes) from old town, and just a couple minutes' walk from the tram stop. The apartment is beautifully decorated with modern amenities and generally quite comfortable. My partner and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony having breakfast, watching the world go by. I also personally loved that the host explained the history of the building, and how it's passed down from generation to generation within her family.
