There was nothing we did not like about the Swiss Holiday House

Great location and very comfortable and well equipped accommodation.

The space was excellent and the only thing we would suggest is some more or different bedding options. A good night's sleep is tough when you are jet-lagged, tougher if the pillows seem too flat or the comforter feels too hot.

Pascal and Cindy were excellent hosts - very helpful, responsive, and went the extra mile. They even shared some spare holiday decorations so we could decorate the place for Christmas! The house has a perfect shared living area, bedrooms upstairs, and bathrooms on every level. It even has good views of the mountains.

Excellent facilities. Enjoyed the location just outside of Interlaken. Great if you like to walk. Otherwise public transport, bus stop not far from front door. Train Station 5 minute walk.

The pillows were a bit flat for our liking, but then those things are very personal.

The location was great: not too far from the station. The cleanliness of the house was excellent and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking at home. Overall we were very happy with this accommodation in Wilderswil.

Written instructions for the washer and dryer would be helpful. And be aware the hot water is very hot.

It is a very well appointed and clean house in an excellent location. Close to the train station and bus stop. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. And the owner was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it for a stay.

Climbing stairs difficult with luggage. furniture in one of the rooms was too big, left very little room for movement. The property was difficult to find. Did not receive mail from Booking.com as it was sent just a few days before reaching. We didn't have contact details with the host when we reached the location.

Not something that I dislike but this house has a few flights of stairs, so it's something to consider if you have mobility issues.

The house is just under 10 minutes walk from Wilderswil train station and shops. The tourist tax (by cash) includes the Interlaken Card that gives free or discounted access to local transport and attractions. The kitchen has a rice cooker.

Perfect location for a stay in the Bernese Oberland. Close to everything but at the same time set back from the crowds. The house is spacious, clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Thanks to Pascal for the warm welcome. Do not hesitate to stay there!

Relaxed holiday location with smart lay-out and a great garden whixh you can use. Though centrally located at the entrance of the Lauterbrunnen valley very quiet place to stay

I would caution anyone traveling with elderly folks or small children that the stairs are quite steep in the house and may be difficult to manage. We were there in the middle of July and the upper loft got quite warm, even with a fan, but it was not unbearable. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

The apartment was comfortable and very well equipt with everything you may need to cook with and there is a safe you can use as well. There was plenty of space for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens). The owner is very friendly and accommodating. We appreciated having a parking space on site.The location is very walkable to the Winderswil train station and a very short drive to Interlaken (we even walked there one night). Easy Access to all the main attractions in the Jungfrau region.

Pascal was an excellent host. He provided us with useful information about the area and was very helpful nothing was too much he even share a lovely piece of venison with us.

Pascal and his wife was friendly and exceptionally helpful. Swiss Holiday House was built by the couple with a lovely combination of Swiss tradition and modern designs, it is well equipped and spacious with three toilets and two baths. Conveniently located and we used the place as a springboard for our daily road trips.

The kitchen was well equipped with utensils and seasonings like home. The house was clean and shower was hot. The location was great as it's close to bus stop and train station. The owner Pascal was a very nice gentleman.

The only thing I missed was having a verandah or outside area.

Homely holiday house with three bedrooms (doubles), two on the second floor and one in the attic with very low ceiling (mind your head)and open access (no door). Thee toilets and two bathrooms + sauna facility which was very relaxing and easy to use. Pascal was a lovely and enthusiastic host. TV with lots of channels (incl. BBC) and WiFi. Easy to park car. Short way to bus and station. Great to have the big door that opens up so possible to enjoy the fresh air even though you can't step outside.

We love the Bernese Oberland and Wilderswil, but this place didn't seem to fit (see attached photo). The parking spot for our compact car was tight. The layout of the facility was odd with one bathroom on the first floor by the entrance, the second bathroom (actually a toilet and sink) on the second floor with the kitchen and living area, the third bathroom on the third floor with the two useable bedrooms, and the fourth-floor bedroom appeared to be designed for small hobbit children.

The location is excellent, a 10 minute walk from the train station. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The price is fair for the area.

Hose to shower head was fray, looks like a wear and tear issue, host says we caused it and wants us to pay, we gave her the benefit of doubt, we just paid to move on.
