comfortable bed and room for a solo traveller. Staff is very friendly and helpful considering o only speak English. located in a peaceful, beautiful town where even the locals are friendly. Breakfast was amazing and was part of booking. I could relax and have a few drinks, which came with a mix of nuts that were yummy 😋. After a few days in allps, it was a perfect stopover before visiting Italy. I've been to 4 countries since and still wish I had more time to stay there. Very close walk to rail, and the church bells are not far, so adds to the magic of this switzerland town .

The floors seemed a bit creaky, maybe it's an older style building.

The staff were great, very helpful. The location in Poschiavo was close to the train station. The town itself was beautiful. Wifi was good. Breakfast was great! They also gave us free train passes during our stay from ospizio bernina (I think that was the station) to Tirano.

This is a case of "you get what you pay for" — room is small and basic, but if that's what you know to expect: it's well-equipped and the warm hospitality are what really draw you in regardless.

Really kind team staffing this hotel throughout my stay — everyone was super helpful, despite my lack of Italian or German language skills. Appreciated the lovely balcony view and fresh air into the room every day, too. Cheese fondue was also super tasty, and the property location is fantastic: just minutes from the train station and about 30 seconds from the main town square so you're in the heart of everything without any of the noise or chatter.

Everything in this hotel is excellent as in excellent above and beyond my expectations. Staffs are very well coming and friendly. Breakfast is delectable with wide selection of great food. love the fruit jams, croissants and coffee are indulging. Rooms are well lit, clean and comfortable, wi-fi is strong and steady. How I wish I stayed longer. I went to Poschiavo for Bernina Express panoramic train experience. I did glacier express to St Moritz, came here thru ordinary train and go to chur the next day from here. I’m glad I did, its tranquil and serene place, small town but big enough to go around if you want to have a calm quiet moment to walk. Compare to lautherbrunnen and Grindelwald, Poschiavo gives you serenity. Next time I come back to Switzerland I will go back in Poschiavo and stay in Suisse hotel again.

Loved everything

Lovely rustic hotel a warm welcome from the friendly staff and an upgrade. They had already been so kind when I had to change my dates last minute. A beautiful room so clean comfortable and light it even smells lovely. Great views and only five minutes walk from the train station and right in the centre of this lovely town. Breakfast was fantastic I'd definitely return

The Bedding/ Sheets look like it has been used for many, many years, but it's clean and comfortable.

The hotel is located less than 10 minutes walk from the train station. The room was very specious. Comfortable bed, and I slept like a baby. Everything was spotless. The breakfast was full of options with locals products and also with gluten-free choices. I'm definitely coming back again.

Such a cute place! Very convenient on the Bernina Route to get to the train station. Breakfast was excellent. My room was very cozy and warm on a cold winter night.

Wished I could stay longer. It needs some renovations.

Though the interior is a bit dated, this hotel truly captured my heart. The rooms were spacious, and the buffet breakfast was fresh and delicious. A special shout-out to the staff—one remembered my interest in visiting Diavolezza and advised me in the morning that the weather wasn’t great, suggesting we head north instead. That thoughtful advice was much appreciated and led to a great day. In the evening, we dined at the hotel’s restaurant, La Terrasse du Suisse, which was fantastic—beautiful setting, exquisite food, and I even got to speak Italian! We plan to return in summer for hikes in Valposchiavo and along the Bernina line, and we will definitely stay here again. Another plus is that it is a short walk from the train station so no need to hire a taxi.

No instant coffee in the room, only tea and electric kettle (minor detail).

The exellent breakfast was served early, so I could reach the early morning train on the last day. I have stayed in the hotel three times before, and it has always been satisfactory.
