Well, it is besides the hospital so there are occasionally the noise of an ambulance going by, but it really didn't affect my sleep.

A nice, clean apartment only 10 minutes from the train station by bus. And the bus stop is maybe 3 minutes away. A Coop grocery store is right by the apartment so easy to pick up food. No real kitchen but a fridge and microwave. Comfy bed, good shower, I really have nothing negative to say. I would come again.

It's located very near the hospital, so there is ambulance and helicopter noise from time to time.

The apartment is roomy and very comfortable. It's very well appointed and has everything you need. Food options and Coop within 3 mins walk.

The property is on the ground floor so the windows and balcony doors are at the same level with the street. I am not sure how it would be if the weather was warmer and if I had to open a window. Also the system to lock the door was not that obvious to me from the beginning but when I found out how it works, I felt more secure and relaxed to enjoy the nice and comfortable space and a warm shower after a long traveling day. The mattress could be renewed but for the one night that I stayed there, it was ok for me.

The property is a private apartment, very comfortable and super clean. It is near the train station and the university hospital and within walking distance from the city center. The whole communication with the owner was without any problem and it was possible to check in later than discussed, as my flight had a delay.

- Apartment on the ground floor, not great for privacy, unless the curtains were closed, lots of people passing by were looking towards the apartment - Tea selection was very limited and, honestly, not very enjoyable tea flavours provided

- The hotel provided for free 1 ticket each day of stay to travel around Bern by bus / tram for free - Very large bed - Good-sized apartment, very clean, warm and cozy - Big shower and spacious bathroom - Several clean towels provided - Large-sized TV - Small fridge available (drinks not for free though) - Kettle + Coffee machine + Microwave + cutlery available - WiFi Internet OK - We called the hotel operator for info and he politely helped us, he was very nice to us. Thank you!

The room was clean and tidy. I like it very much because it was spacious and just 1 bus stop away from city center. We arrived early and could leave the luggage in the place nearby. The staff was helpful and friendly. Overall, I recommend this place!

For sleep only (windows point straight out to street, it's pretty dark even with curtains open). Hospital nearby, emergency vehicles (e.g. helicopters) can make a lot of noise. Could be cleaned better (light switches had some smear on them, dust on towel dryer). Ventilation is a challenge (need to open windows facing the street). Not much privacy with open curtains (ground floor pointing at the street).

Great location, reasonable choice if one is interested only in a place to sleep. Very convenient check in.

Unfortunately, the room has two doors that are locked of which you don't have the keys: one works as back entry/exit door and you can see the street from it; the another one is internal and you can't see what's behind it. I'm sure other people won't have problems with this, but I didn't feel safe in knowing that there are doors in my room of which I don't have the keys and that can lead to someone else coming in. Again, this place was great, but this element didn't make me sleep comfortably. Unfortunately, as a solo female traveller, you'd prefer to have everything under control, make sure you know what's behind everything, have everything locked by you, having all the keys, etc., in order to feel safe, and I didn't feel this way, even if after all everything went fine, it's just a "feeling" that I would like to share as I would have preferred for the host to inform me of what was behind that door and to inform me from the beginning that the room has these extra doors, that's all.

The self check-in was easy, although at first it was unclear in which way I had to open the letter box, but all sorted in a couple of minutes. The room was big, with big bed, lots of pillows, a fridge with some drinks and tea bags. I really appreciated the fact that even if the accommodation is not in a very central location, the hotel sends you an email with what you need to have a 24hrs (and more) free bus ticket, so you can use it to reach the main attractions of the city as well as the station, etc. PS: very cool table lamps!

The noise from the hospital - it could keep you awake a little bit. But I know that's not something that's easily changed, since that's a locational thing.

Well-positioned for the price; access to the station and the Old Town was fairly easy. Bedroom was very cosy, and stayed cool with the fan and the windows open, even on a very hot night.
