People at the reception were super nice and helpful, my room was already well prepared and kept cold (I traveled in August). Breakfast was great, especially homemade müsli was amazing!

The staff were superb, kind, helpful and went out of their way to make sure we understood directions and how to get to certain destinations. The room was quiet and nicely appointed. Breakfast was very good.

Our room, though air conditioned, was warm at night.

The hotel is located on a hillside close to the city. It is a short walk from the train station, restaurants, and old town. It has an elevator (helpful when carrying luggage) and a nice breakfast. Good in-room storage and dark shades! The shelving, dark shades and a low ceiling also made it an obstacle course in the dark!

Though they say it's a 3 star hotel. I truly had a 5 star hotel experience! The room was spacious, the hotel has a restaurant in the premise, the staff all friendly knowledge and truly helpful! The facility they clean room daily, offer toiletries, a coffee bar, a safe, a mini refrigerator, the rooms have AC, a flat TV, sitting area, desk area...truly exceptional!

I was very happy after reading conflicting reviews (some stating that this hotel does not have air conditioning) to find that this hotel does have air conditioning. This was the one hotel in our tour of Switzerland where it was cool enough to sleep comfortably even with a duvet. It was also very convenient to have a small refrigerator in the room (again the only hotel that offered this). I had the misfortune of acquiring an eye infection right before or during travel from the US to Switzerland. After the first night, when I asked the front desk staff about an urgent care, the staff pointed out that there is one at the main train station (7 minute walk) and a pharmacy as well. They were reassuring about the quality and reasonable wait time of the urgent care. When we asked about storing our luggage for the day because we had a reservation for a different room the second night (we had changed our plans late in the game for the busy August season), they coordinated with housekeeping and got us into our second room at 9:00 am so we could move our luggage in and so I could rest during the day after going to urgent care. The next morning when we checked out, the front desk staff asked whether I was felling better. One thing to note is that the hotel is up a set of stairs overlooking Old Town. This can be a little challenging getting there with luggage when you are tired after a long flight, but there is an alternate route with a ramp. Not being in the middle of Old Town also has the advantage of less noise!

Liked the property but getting there was a challenge. I wish the Hotel provided specific walking directions. The Hotel is located on a hill and there are two ways to access- stairs and a ramp. GPS directs you up the stairs. 😕 Not easy with luggage. There is also considerable road and sidewalk construction outside the train station. Again GPS points you through the closed roadways. Luckily this wasn’t my first time in Zurich and I was able take another route. A brief warning on the Hotel website would be helpful.

Beautiful boutique hotel near the university and within walking distance of the historic district and the main train station. Great breakfast in the morning. Although we weren’t able to experience it due to rain the patio off the breakfast area looked inviting.

Everything was fantastic! The staff were very welcoming when we arrived and even provided us with guidance on the best way to reach the Rhine Falls from Zurich. The room has air conditioning and was clean and beautiful. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was very powerful! There was a good selection of food for breakfast. Station is close by. I would recommend this hotel if staying in Zurich!
