I loved the kitchen which you can cook your own foods, nice and clean dinning room free coffee. The roof top was awesome, there were tables and chairs you can seat with coffee tea or wine and enjoy the view of the city from roof top

There is nothing I did not like about this hotel. If you want a hotel bar/restaurant, or a "normal reception" that would be missing... Check-in etc. is online, and there are people to help you in case something would not work. But the amenities were perfect, shops, bars, restaurants and cafés very close, so we did not need that.

It's super nice, ideal for a City trip! Perfectly located between train station and Old Town, with a sick rooftop terrace! Views over the whole city with comfy chairs, tables, umbrellas for sun protection. Brought our drinks and food up there and had a lovely evening. The vibe in the hotel reminded me a little bit of a hostel (community kitchen to use), but the rooms were super nice, spacious and clean! 10/10 recommend.

Is all good, in the future the internet on roof terrace could be improved. In addition parking cards need to be hand stamped, should be able to automate this and link it to reg plate

I wish there was a chair, but I didn’t explore the common room until the last day. It has plenty of comfortable seating and complimentary beverages. If direction had said “next door to Restaurant Le Luce” it would have been so much easier to find.

Perfectly adequate as a place to sleep in a phenomenal location. Step out the door to pubs and restaurant for Alfresco dining in every direction. Very safe location. Common room with comfy seating, views and beverages as well as a luggage storage room with individual luggage locks were helpful. It is clean and maximizes the space. The bed was Extremely comfortable. The choices of rolled down shutters, dark curtains, and or sheers were great options to have. Nice view without others able to look in was favorable. Good AC and a lift added ease and comfort. On site assistants in the common room, which is actually multiple rooms , were very kind, professional and helpful.

I found an unpleasant surprise when I checked in, that unlike the photos you’ll see for the “cozy double” with large window and view, I instead had two small windows that barely opened looking out into… walls. There are only a few of these “cozy” rooms with no view, and I don’t know if I paid a different price when booking on this site for that room or if it’s the luck of the draw! Obviously I could have addressed this, but didn’t realize most of the rooms across the hall were also cozy till my second day, and I was only staying three nights. I would strongly suggest confirming before arrival that you will be in a cozy room with an actual view! I also had an issue when storing food in the refrigerator. I’d bought a few things and specifically put them in the back to keep them from being moved around. (They provide sticky notes to add your room number - but they don’t stick, falling off immediately!) My second morning, someone had taken my plastic bag and set my yogurt out with no identification. Thankfully, the yogurt was still there, but my plastic bag - which I’d been using for weeks for groceries as it was large and strong enough for several bottles - was gone. And despite being a large fridge, other guests buy large amounts of food to cook, so it’s often so full there isn’t space. Not happy about both of these issues.

There’s a LOT to like about this hotel - a great location that’s near most sights and the train station, very well designed use of the room space, lots of extras in the room, an excellent shower with immediate hot water, several chairs in the room (and desk), better lighting than most of my rooms in Switzerland, and good bed. Also fairly quiet, unfortunately some guests slam their doors! Having a washing machine was great, although you’ll definitely be “in line.” And the coffee machine was fabulous, allowing choices beyond e press either crème and sugar provided. Excellent!

The only downside was a noisy / creaky sofa bed that my daughters slept on!

The set up is fantastic - very nice en-suite hotel room, mixed with a hostel style public area was a great blend. The rooftop terrace was lovely. The location right in the centre of Bern was excellent. Complimentary coffee, milk, and filtered water was an added bonus.

Such a great idea, it’s like a very stylish hotel that lets you bring your own food and drinks. The communal areas were beautifully maintained, with a huge kitchen for you to cook if you want to, fridge to store your ingredients, plates, cutlery etc and free tea & coffee. Everyone was so respectful of cleaning up after themselves, it was a lovely atmosphere to meet and chat with new people. We went for the smallest room, but it was perfect, and very fun!

Nothing, would stay again in a heartbeat

It’s super clean and spacious in literally the perfect location, 15 minutes (walk) from the swimming pool, 15 minutes (walk) from the bear park and has really good public transport outside if getting back late at night. It’s right on top of the main town square and the museums as well int he beautiful old town. The room was spacious with lots of towels and a really nice shower! The bed is the comfiest I’ve stayed in and every room had a window seat so really nice to look out over the city and a really good way to maximise space in the room. It’s a no contact hotel and everything is accessed via phone so it’s kind of like your own private apartment but they have a common area with kitchen a tea and coffee so the place is really useful for whatever your saying needs are. It was so quiet at night.

Quite small windows. Odd room design with bed in the middle and no proper wardrobe and just 3 coat hangers so very limited storage for clothes. Shower quite tricky - when you think you are turning it off instead it switched to an overhead dump of cold water! That got me twice. So the room wasn't so good for the price. Quite dark until 2 days in I spotted some discreet light switches fitted into the bed. I tried the free coffee in the kitchen area but had to pour half of it away as it was horrible! I hated how the hotel requires you to download their app to do anything such as check-in or get a tram discount. On a trip with several hotels the last thing I want is to clutter my phone with extra apps for each stay.

Great central (old town) location, friendly and helpful staff, excellent spacious communal areas. Nice spiral staircase and a roof terrace with a good view.

Only gripe is that the sofa bed was super squeaky making for a bad night’s sleep. The whole experience was so good tho that I would absolutely ‘do kooook’ again but perhaps this should be addressed!

Beautiful room, fabulous common area, funky decor, lovely roof top area, welcoming staff … extra bonus was that we were there for the Swiss National Holiday and we were treated to Swiss bread, cheese and other breakfast treats.
