The facilities were slightly dated, but nothing that created any problem

The rural location was very nice. The personal service by the hostess was outstanding. It was very helpful in finding things in the area and she was the most friendly person I’ve ever encountered in a hotel.

The location is slightly out of town. Need to drive around an hour to Interlaken or Bern city. Other than that everything was so good.

Everything. The mountain view was so beautiful, the room was clean and everyday the staff will do the cleaning, the breakfast was so good especially the omelette. The front desk staff was very friendly and approachable, this hotel even had complimentary drinks and welcome fruits.

Need better pillows, and I didn't like not having air-condition.

First I would like to acknowledge the host- Alexandra. She was supper friendly and gave us amazing tips what to see and where to visit. She went far and beyond. Location is great if you are looking for a quite place and place to hike on the mountain, but a bit far to get to main attractions and the roads to get there are narrow and curvy. Breakfast was good. Rooms very spacious, but quite basic. No air-condition, and we were there when it was a hot weather (although not too bad as it is high in the mountain). The beddings and pillows would benefit from an upgrade, but all in all it was comfortable and nice.

A Truly Exceptional Stay – Thanks to Alexandra and Her Warm Hospitality We had an unforgettable stay at this charming Swiss hotel, and much of that is thanks to the wonderful owner, Alexandra. From the moment we arrived, she went out of her way to make us feel welcome and at home. Her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care for her guests made all the difference. One of the standout features of our stay was the incredible flexibility – especially when it came to breakfast. Unlike many places with strict schedules, Alexandra was happy to accommodate our timing, and always with a smile. Whether we were up early for an excursion or wanted a slower morning, she made sure breakfast was served just right. And what a breakfast! Fresh, locally sourced, and thoughtfully prepared – it was a perfect start to each day. The hotel itself is cozy, clean, and full of character, but it’s Alexandra’s personal touch that truly sets it apart. We can’t recommend this place enough and will absolutely return.

Breakfast options were not enough. Options like breads, a toaster and scrambled eggs should be there at least.

Breakfast arrangement was good. They made sure baby seat is there when we come for breakfast. Tables were already reserved for our rooms. Friendly staff. beautifull view.

I recently stayed at hotel sporting.and had an exceptional experience. The staff was welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth. The room was spacious, immaculate, and beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable bed and good views. Housekeeping maintained excellent cleanliness, and the room's amenities, including breakfast, 24/7 free coffee maker, and high-quality toiletries, were impressive. The bathroom featured a shower with great water pressure. There was also a cable car to go up the mountain in front of the hotel.45 minutes from Luzern and public transport available till late night. Overall, my stay was memorable due to the excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and attention to detail. I recommend and look forward to returning.

Restaurant was missing as they decided to close it down and due to location, it would be hard to get basic things next to the hotel. With a car thats not a deal breaker i think

Hotel owner was amazing and she would just try to help out the guests in every way possible. They would give welcome drinks vouchers and also try to help you suggest itinerary and give brochures. Breakfast was good too.
