How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

a bit pricey for a single room with very limited breakfast choices. considering it's a sports resort they didn't cater much to the needs of hikers, for example no place to fill the water bottles in the building, I had to find a fountain outside (sink in bathroom was too small to fit my bottle). I would have liked the opportunity to buy sandwiches and snacks for the hike. No common kitchen/ fridge to store my own food
offers several activities in the holiday resort, some included in the price, others at a discounted rate. Great use of the area with a fun rope park (additional fee) and disc golf (free for guests) between the buildings. Nice quiet area, relaxing atmosphere, several seating areas outside to relax and read a book. Despite being massive it didn't feel crowded, even at breakfast, despite several larger groups. 10 Minute walk to the Town centre 2 Minute walk to its own train station. limited free parking

Less expensive single room in the whole region. The room is quiet and comfortable. Next to a train station. Breakfast and dinner are OK, but it is mostly a canteen for the large school groups.

The place seemed to be shutting down for the end of the season. almost all the facilities were closed. The restaurant served up a dinner that was overpriced and unappetising even by Swiss standards.
Beautiful clean room with a great view.

the pool is never open during the summer. Dirty rooms, cobwebs on the balcony. free parking space. convenient location, near the train station, the cable car can be reached on foot
We paid money for accommodation for the children, a bed. but at breakfast they didn't even give for the children plates. breakfast menu: sandwiches and dry breakfast, bananas

Breakfast is very simple. Coffee, bread, cold cuts, and thats it.
Absolutely recomendable, no frills hotel. I got the single room, which has a bed and a desk and a decent bathroom. If youre looking for a simple room for a couple of days, this is the place you want to stay. They have extra ammenities (pool?) wchih i didnt use. Location wise is decent (15 minutes to the cable car). They also let me park my motorcycle under a roof nearby.

The resort is better suited for students and large groups, and it seems to be designed for this purpose. We couldn't truly use the facilities or we didn't understand how to do so (even the simple and open areas such as the “mini-golf”). Hallenbad was closed. Another important detail are the check-in, check-out, dinner and breakfast hours. Check-in ends at 6 pm and we almost couldn't make it; the hotel had sent me several messages in advance and I'm sure this detail must have been included somewhere, but this is the most relevant info to put it out right away (not the guest card, which by the way is not that helpful/interesting). What would happen if we didn't make for check-in before 6 pm? I'm not sure. Entry to the guest‘s restaurant ends at 19:15 and we decided to go elsewhere for dinner (the eating area functions like a Mensa). Breakfast is only until 9 am, it only works for people who are planning to leave for early hikes. Check out limit time is also the earliest I ever seen (10 am). All in all: if you just want a place to crash for the evening, yes, this might be a pricey small bedroom with private bathroom.
Had I paid half of what I paid, I'd say this could be a great accommodation. It is not that easy to find places for 3 people. However, it is only a decent and simple room, and charging more than CHF 70 per person is simply too much. The breakfast was OK, but again, in very simple terms. Everything was fairly organized and clean.
