Room a little functional rather than stylish. Very basic bed. Lighting not very good in bathroom.

The distance to Bern , much longer then indicated on your side. One has to take the train to get back and forth.

The shower was awesome the internet great and the room and bathroom a good size!

loved this property! staff was amazing and let us in at midnight when we got there. location was great, quiet area just outside of Bern and city life, about a 5 min walk from bus stop! room was spacious and there’s a little breakfast spot downstairs. highly recommend this place!!

Just minor points: Lighting in the bedroom was dim, with no bedside light on one side. of the bed. Electrical sockets difficult to access (underneath a low shelf). Very narrow door to shower.

Staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good. Great coffee! Good, informal, restaurant. Easy parking.

This place felt like it was taken right out of a fairy tale! It was so beautiful. The host was unbelievably kind and accommodating. The restaurant for dinner was absolutely delicious, as was the breakfast. Everything exceeded my expectations.

No Fan in the room as so hot and if window opened the traffic noise unbearable.We had a fan the next night because we pressed for it.They should ensure they have a fan for every room. Breakfast choices very limited Room decorations very dated

I realise that we were staying in winter so no flower boxes, but I had to go outside and double check the pictures on line with the place we were at as they looked quite different. The walls and ceiling are paper thin with noise from neighbouring rooms being heard until 3am. It sounded that the family above us were jumping from bed to bed as I thought someone was going to crash through to our room it was so loud. We struggled with the overwhelming smell of cigarettes in the dining area to the point that we did not eat there for dinner as we had planned. We moved accommodation due to the lack of sleep experienced by us all. There was no laundry as listed either. A laundry service is available, but only on certain days of the week it seems.

The town is picturesque. The rooms are very large with heating and comfortable duvets.

The room was cold and the heating didn't work. Only the one in the bathroom, but was not enough to heat up the room. The facilities were ok and everything seemed cleaned, but for the price I was expecting better, maybe a larger bed and more blankets. In terms of staff and breakfast, everything was perfect.

No wifi and not convenient its old property

Room was on the third level, assessable only by stairs. The room temperature was extremely on the hot side, made it difficult to sleep. I would never stay at this hotel again. When a property does not provide Lifts to upper floors, stairs make it prohibitive, especially for someone like me over 80 years young. The property listing should mention stairs must be dealt with.

The hotel staff were pleasant. The breakfast was above average.

Windows right next to the apparently main road which made it near impossible to sleep. Light on the street is way stronger than what the blinds were made for.

Really enjoyed this hotel. Room was very cozy, clean and comfortable. There is a bakery just a few blocks away and the general store next to it.

Great location, 5 min. from railway station! Very friendly staff- had a room towards the main street on the first night, which was very noisy, and they changed it upon my request, no problem.
