The hotel should consider providing an electric fan if air conditioning isn’t available during the summer. The room was uncomfortably hot, even with the doors open, so having a fan would make a big difference.

I booked a non-en suite room knowing I’d be sharing a bathroom, but the setup was unusual and not made clear when booking. My room had a locked connecting door to a bathroom that I couldn’t use, yet it was shared by the room next door. This meant I could hear everything through the thin door (with a gap underneath) whenever it was used, which was very loud and uncomfortable. On top of that, I still had to use the shared bathroom out in the corridor. Overall, it felt like a strange and poorly explained arrangement.

For the price the room was good especially having the lake view ,balcony and breakfast. The staff were all very friendly also.

A hook on the back of the door of my room would have been useful to hang up my bath towel, as I had a room without a bathroom.

Great location, right on the lake front and very close to all shops and amenities. The buffet breakfast was exceptional. A very good selection of food to choose from, and also well catered for dairy and gluten free guests. The receptionist was also very friendly and helpful.

Extreme noise from live music on 2 of 3 nights. Extreme noise through walls of arguing guests, guests making normal noises like taking a shower, I heard it all. Smoking through ajoining door of next room was also unpleasant- hotel is non smoking inside rooms! 1 toilet for females and 2 toilets for males to share between 6 rooms. 1 shower to share between 6 rooms. I knew about this during booking and it did make me nervous, but I wasn't aware just how many have to share and it is too many and not enough female toilets. Would I stay again? Maybe, but it was the worst and most expensive single room of the 3 I stayed at in Switzerland on this trip and all 3 locations were tourist hotspots so felt this was quite overpriced.

Breakfast was great, especially days hot breakfast was provided. Location and ability to swim in the lake immediately from the hotel was the other positive. Views from balcony - would never choose non lake facing room. Staff were very nice.

The shower is shared with the entire floor, we wanted to shower before check out and someone was in there, so had to wait.

Location is PERFECT. Room has a balcony which was cute. The breakfast is great!! Staff are pleasant.

In our opinion the hotel is more like a hostel and very tired. The front desk staff did help us out with a pulling converter and were pleasant.

It’s not easy to find an available hotel parking spot. The town is busy with tourists during the day, but it quiets down nicely in the evening. The hotel itself feels quite old for the room prices and would really benefit from some renovation.

The room offers a nice view of the lake, but the best views are actually from the terrace, where you can enjoy an aperitif or dinner. The staff is friendly and deserves to be acknowledged.

Toilet is outside the room (although this was already mentioned at the time of booking ) which is little uncomfortable. Breakfast does not have many options, especially for vegetarian tourists.

The staff pretend they can ride a car for you, but in fact if you don’t have a certain time, they can’t They’ll ignore your message until you arrive the hotel Also remember to ask code to enter the building g if you arrive after 9pm But general it’s not a bad place — it’s just a general discrimination that Switzerland people tend to perform and talk in this way

It is dated. My main concern was the lift. There is no inner closing door so it is possible for items to get trapped as lift ascends/descends. Used the stairs instead.

- The noise. Gosh! I could hear my neighbors and those Indian guys (lots of them) are not discreet at all. - The bed was uncomfortable, and the pillow gave me a headache. Bring your own pillow or dont bother. - The sheets are so old and not comfortable either.

- Good location - Staff are nice, especially the Croatian girl (sorry I forgot her name, but if you see this thank you)

The hostel is old. Bed sheets and facilities need to be changed, they look old. Only one toilet and one shower for one floor wasn’t comfortable
