GermanyNo place to put you suitcase and unpack - as the room is small, it wasn‘t easy to take your things out and put them back in again. Also, the portions at dinner were relatively small for a mountain restaurant. They do that to avoid throwing away leftovers and you can ask for more, but we found out about that at the end for the dessert. And after a day on the mountain we were famished. It is a bother that guests smoke on their balconies, because you can‘t enjoy sitting outside or leaving you window open - but that‘s so elsewhere in Switzerland as well.
The location is excellent - very quiet on the edge of the forest with a large stream right under your balcony, putting you to sleep. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was comfortable. The regular rooms were a bit small for a longer stay, but if you need more space, you can book a larger room. Food was creative and delicious. Breakfast buffet with a large selection was divided into different sections to avoid waiting. Our table was in the Pavilion restaurant, which is just above the stream - you sit right outside in nature without the bother of insects. There are planed activities at the hotel - guided hikes, yoga, bike tours - if you don‘t want to explore the mountain on you own. The hotel has its own hiking guides. We didn‘t have time to try the pool and spa, but the garden is very nice. There‘s a barefoot path to walk to the stream with a separated section secured with a rope for a Kneip bath.

SwitzerlandI had a nice stay at the Arena Resort Schweizerhof in Sils. The staff was friendly and made the experience feel welcoming right from the start. My room was clean and comfortable, which is always a big plus. The restaurant was another highlight—the Swiss food was delicious and worth trying. The only downside for me was the pool, which was a bit too warm for my liking. But overall, it was a pleasant stay with good service and a great meal to top it off.

Maybe good to have designated quiet and regular times. Also computer system was down for 40+ mins when we tried to check out.

SwitzerlandThere was no fridge in the room, no amenities at all, just the shower gel. That means that if I had to wash my hands in the sink I had to go into the shower to get soap.
The quality of the food was amazing, especially the Christmas dinner was outstanding, breakfast was varied with many options. The spa, the pool, very nice atmosphere. The room was new, bed comfortable, the bathroom was small but very new and very clean. Nice balcony with amazing views. The staff from the restaurant very helpful.

SwitzerlandBe careful as the hotel closes for the night and if you go out without your card key there is a risk you don’t get back into your room until the morning. Also, it was not super clear where I should leave the card which I had for the parking when you leave the hotel, didn’t find the box.
I have chosen this hotel because of the location due to the fact it was a work trip for me but finally it was really great. After whole day on my feet I managed to still enjoy the pool in the Thermal Bath section of the hotel, which was extremely relaxing! It is a bit dated in the style but it was pretty clean and convenient. Also I really like the design of the room, a lot of wooden elements, even the room for single person was quite cozy and had everything one could need, the window with natural light.
