Tiny room with smelly closet, small bathroom, no air conditioning only small fan not adequate to the heat. A fridge that is not real fridge.

This hotel was in a great location, overlooking the beautiful Stockalperschloss castle. The breakfast was great, and the beds were comfortable.

It was very, very hot in the hostel. But then again we are in a heatwave. There were fans in the room but it really could do with air con.

Location was amazing; hostel was a cool set up; breakfast was a nice touch. We were also able to leave our bags on the day of check out.

The hotel is beautifully situated next to Stockalperschloss Castle and close to the train station. The breakfast was varied and fully adequate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This was our second time staying at this hotel and we were very pleased. We plan to stay here again next year.

Nothing really but we did not get a castle facing room and a bathtub.

The room was good size, comfortable beds, location was good outside the castle. Breakfast was nice and the room had good amenities like a kettle, coffee maker with coffees, tissues, cups, toiletries etc.

Definitely require modernisation, very basic and dated rooms. Not enough parking spaces for all rooms so if check-in in late have to use nearby multi-storey car park - luckily only 200m down the road and reasonably priced. CHF 0.40/hr until 7am and CHF 0.80 after 7am

Good value for money, very basic but ok for overnight stay. Next to the castle. Self check in and check out Breakfast basic but can’t complain , enough for day out

Perfect location, really close to the main town, train station, and beautiful hikes. Room had everything we needed, and the mini fridge and fan were a really welcome surprise! Self check-in was easy and staff were friendly. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

a little far from train station, suggest not to bring too many or heavy luggage haha self check in with issue, there is no way i can call , i wait there until the staff out and request for wifi luckily the staff there was good , but the receptionist was rude when we spoke in phone call anyway when i booked the reservation it showed with double deck room but it came with 4 single bed in a room, a little disappointed but overall is still good

Annoying self check-in process. Despite having provided all my details already once during reservation I had to retype everything once more with an on-screen keyboard that was not very responsive. There was no parking available and we had to park in public parking. Fortunately it was nearby.

There was a dedicated room to store a bike. Not huge but did the job. Breakfast was decent. It was rather silent in the room.

The buses to this hotel were very infrequent and so it was hard to walk from the station and back with the luggage. That's not the problem of the hotel though and they are super helpful and kind.

Loved our room at Schlosshotel. It was spacious and the view was fantastic! Very kind staff who made everything as comfortable as possible. Enjoyed interacting with Sandra. We could leave our luggage in the hotel to go check out the town after we checked out. Breakfast was basic and filling.

Only a few parking places at hotel. Some were not cleaned of snow, however we found shovels in technical room. 😀

Not so much a dislike as an unexpected difficulty with the self check-in. I had booked 3 rooms through booking.com and the self check-in system would not accept my confirmation number. Luckily a guest exiting the hotel let me into the building saying there was a 24/7 telephone available at the desk which could be used to get help. When I called the number listed I reached the hotel manager. After explaining my difficulty with self check-in she explained what had probably caused the issue and within ten minutes arrived on site to promptly take care of signing us in.

The hotel was very centrally located. Rooms were simple and clean with a balcony looking out onto the mountains. Beds were very comfortable. A continental style breakfast with some Western items was included. Guests were advised that staying at the hotel entitled them to some meal discounts at 2 local restaurants.
