Friendly, Indian excellent food, very good value for money

Rooms antiquated, very few plugs, roof was low and clostrophobic. Bathroom was small also and cramped . Breakfast was OK but one coffee per guest limit. Not a great strategy to limit the coffee.

Great location, amazing views of the mountains and the lake Wallen below. Dining room downstairs was big, we were allowed to have our own snacks with drinks that we bought there.

- Breakfast is rather basic. One of those days you begin to value full English breakfast. Based on that experience we decided to opt out of evening meals and just buy our own food as we go. - The room did not have coat hangers although there is space on the walls that could be used for that purpose, for example near the entrance. - Also no TV, but I guess who needs it when you are in these gorgeous surroundings (except when it pours for 4 days) - Thin walls, so any noise is very clearly heard

- It was the cheapest place I could find in Zurich area in July.... I know.. it's not close to Zurich, but you have to weigh the cost of driving vs the cost of staying, plus if you are planning on driving anyways, it won't matter that much. - Amden village is in the mountains, so if the weather is good the views can be very nice (it was pouring for 4 days so we didn't get to enjoy it unfortunately) - It is a clean, cosy, family-run little hotel, and the room was big enough to fit 2 adults and 2 kids... Savings are good... for those of us who are struggling to get to grips with how expensive Switzerland is... - The host is trying to be very friendly

I have no complaints

Breakfast had a good variety of fresh bread, fruit, meat and cheese, cereal. The host was always friendly and helpful. Dinner there is also a wonderful home cooked Indian experience.

Soap in bathroom would have been nice. For 2 people, 2 shower gel packets and 2 water cups would have been nice.

Price was right. Breakfast wasn't fancy, but it was good--first real fruit we've encountered at a hotel in Switzerland! Staff was very friendly.

Breakfast was not upto the expectation. Infact disappointed with breakfast. There cheese sheets sliced into 2 and if you want a second coffee you should pay. But may be for 10€ that’s what you will get in Switzerland. But the guy there was saying that, you will get special breakfast . That actually made us feel like we were being cheated.

The toilet/bath is a bit tight.

Great location with private parking and beautiful views. Just a 5-minute drive to the slopes' parking and within 300 meters of supermarkets. The hotel is run by a lovely and helpful family, providing a good breakfast for a small fee and an optional dinner in their dining room. Guests can also use the space to enjoy their own food. Overall, a great stay!

Bathrooms quite basic and small but clean and well looked after. Took a while for hot water to come through.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable although the furniture was basic. The bed was very comfy and I had a great sleep. Owner was delightful and very accommodating.

The toilet was extremley small and the shower uses an electrical showerhead to heat the water. Takes forever to heat up and very dangerous to not overheat.

The staff was really nice and did listen to wishes i had. Big spacious bed for one Person.
