The location was perfect right on the river, the view from the apartment was absolutely stunning. We visited for Eurovision, and the apartment just elevated our whole experience. We cooked in the apartment a number of times and found the facilities all more than suitable. I'd highly recommend the apartment for anyone that wants to feel like they are well located to restaurants, the old town and of course those beautiful views of the Rhine.

Location and view were fabulous. Apartment was spotlessly clean and Jessy and Tom the owners could not have been lovelier or more helpful, even accommodating a last minute change due to illness.

We thought that the lift would go all the way up to the One Bedroom Apartment on Floor 5, but it only goes to Floor 4, and then there's a spiral staircase to get to the apartment (15 stairs). If you have any mobility issues or very heavy luggage, you might be better with the apartments on the lower floors.

The location was perfect. There's a gorgeous view over the river, it's very central to tramlines for travelling, there are lots of facilities nearby (Coop, restaurants, shops) and easy access to the old town and newer shopping precinct. The apartment itself was spotless, well-appointed and warm. The sofa bed had been made up for us in advance, and it was very comfy! I had a few questions for the hosts upon booking, and Jessy was responsive, friendly and reassuring!

There were some ongoing road work early morning and during the night you can easily here some noisy strollers - but hey, this is part of being located in the middle of the old city. With closed windows it was totally fine.

Very convenient to collect the key from a secured box directly in front of the house. The location is just magnificent in the old part of the city and with the Rhein just in front of the door. You can just jump in the river for a swim ! The room was small but very comfortable. The kitchen well equipped and functional but you have to bring all the ingredients.

Fantastic location with beautiful views over the river and to the old city. Easy walk to public transport (which is free) and good local shopping district. Lift made luggage a breeze and shared laundry very easy to use.

We stayed in July, which was hot, and although there was no aircon, we just opened the windows for unobstructed views and breeze so don’t regard this as a negative.

Excellent location - beside Rhine. Short stroll to Rheingasse tram stop, Coop and Migros. Close to riverside restaurants. Good apartment layout, comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchenette, secure building. Excellent, friendly hosts - very responsive to queries. Note: We were in ‘Riverview lounge’ apartment which had amazing views of the river.

Amazing location in Basel. The hosts were even wonderful people and felt like meeting old friends. The apartment was well appointed, super clean with all the amenities one need for a stay. Highly recommend the place!!

Excellent location in front of the river, with comfortable beds and a super equipped kitchen. Wonderful shower. The apartment is very clean and very easy to get around in the center of Basel, as everything is very close. It's really worth staying here.

WiFi was completely unreliable, and was dropped more often than it worked. We were on the 4th floor but the WiFi server was on the 1st floor. Typically only gained the one small dot of WiFi signal and then it would frequently drop. Listing said 2 beds with room for 3 adults. Incorrect. It has one king bed and a regular couch, which did not convert to a 2nd bed.

Good value and location for my work at the Novartis campus. It was directly adjacent to the Rhine river across from the historical center of town. Modern kitchen and bathroom.
