Rooms are all on ground floor and right around the corner from the restaurant, so just something to keep in mind safety-wise. There is a church clocktower that tolls every 15min; it didn't really bother me, but I know other visitors found it excessive.

Clean room and bathroom, size was small but as expected--perfect for a solo traveler who just needs a shower and a bed! Nice courtyard right outside of rooms, not private but quiet, with my own table to sit at. Easy to find, a 15-20 minute bus ride from Lucerne, and the hotel is right across the street from the bus stop. Neighborhood was very pretty and close to the lake; I felt safe walking by myself in the evening. Restaurant was fine; I had dinner there one night but wasn't blown away by food or service.

The room was basic but comfortable. Location was ideal for short journey into Luzern. The breakfast was adequate and good service. Nothing too much for the staff.

It was unavoidable and quaint, but if you don't want to hear church chimes you'd need to look elsewhere.

The reception and greeting was a bit quick and and we were not really informed about checkout time. We assumed the checkout was 12pm and hence decided to go out in the morning. On returning to the hotel, we were 'scolded' by the staff about not checking out at 11AM in a harsh manner. This was a mistake and not done on purpose plus it was not communicated to us in the first place.

It was cozy and quiet. For the price, it was good value for money. The room was neat and the lawn in front was nice.

Pleasant staff, nice room. For a budget room, this was really good. Comfortable beds, nice shared outdoor area. Having a bus stop across the road that took you straight into town was convenient. I liked how it was so quiet and peaceful

Terrible noise from the church. Every 15 min from 7 a.m. They dont have double bed. Onlly twin.

Room size could have been bigger. Beds were not very comfortable. We got two single beds, instead of one double bed.

Location wise it was very good, just next to the Meggen Schlössli bus stop, clean room, very nice privacy and security. Very friendly staff. Overall quite a nice stay.

The owner made us feel very welcome. Really good value for money Bus stop outside the door to Luzern town centre - no 24 Breakfast full continental with refills if you needed it. Would definately stay again

Basic clean room with private facilities attached to a popular restaurant. A bus stop for direct services to the main station and town centre (15 mins) is a few yards away. Friendly owner and staff. Good pasta and pizza restaurant, copious dishes.

our room was right next to a bell tower and it would ring for a minute sharp at 7 and on weekends at 8. it also rang every 15 mins between 7-10 every day so I now understand what other reviews meant.

The property is close to Luzern and the lake. The free parking was convenient.

The location is perfect, which is like 15 minutes from Lucerne station by bus. The room is decent with all the basic needs. The restaurant is amazing with delicious food and very friendly staff.
