We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming hotel. The staff are exceptional- friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food in the restaurant is extremely good. We rarely eat in hotel restaurants, but after a late arrival we ate there on our first night, and it was so good, we ate there another night. The view from our room across the valley was stunning. As was the view from the dining room. The hotel is a little out of town, but there is a free bus service, with the stop only 200m from the hotel.

Breakfast bit Sparse at times only one selection of Cold Meat Cheeses were cut so small like a tasting size you would get in a shop Bacon so over cooked some days last day not replenished.Restaurant closed two days meant had to go down town to eat no other option Bar not really opened for if you fancied a drink or coffee during day Hotel was so lifeless I would Rate this Hotel only with B and B Facilities which meant you had to go out to eat drink etc no options

The shower was over a very narrow bath. I would have preferred just a shower

We liked the position as it was very close (4 min walk) to the cable car to go and see the glacier. The hotel offered a free shuttle too to the Omega European Masters. It is a very comfortable, homely hotel, we really did enjoy our stay here. The staff were SO friendly, especially the two ladies in the restaurant who welcomed us every morning with the biggest smiles. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

We went there on a bank holiday and there was nowhere for us to eat as they hotel was having an event and you had to pre book a table at the restaurant. But it was a seafood event and something we didn't feel our 15 months and 4 year old would have been interested in. Also the breakfast was a bit disappointing, it was a buffet and we had to ask for someone to lay us a space at a table and get more water as it had run out, the coffee was machine coffee and tasted awful. It felt it wasn't worth it for the money.

We stayed for two nights, and those days were hot (36 to 38 °C). Since there is no air conditioning, it was a bit uncomfortable; however, this made us search for some additional activities, and we ended up swimming in a cold lake to refresh ourselves, which was terrific.

The room was big enough for the three of us, clean, the bathroom was comfortable the pressure and temperature of the water were good. The breakfast was excellent (they baked high-quality bread, an prepared jar yogurt with real rasperry jelly, among many other things) and the staff were very nice.

Everything was perfect to us.

The location and view were absolutely amazing. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The rooms were spotless and fresh, offering great comfort. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful — a perfect start to the day.

Re-do the plug sockets!

Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere are the key points. The room we had was a little small for 4 beds and dated - with a major problem being the old fashioned plug sockets - even with an adapter we couldn't charge our phones - but it was clean and had a great view. A little expensive for the dated appearance but it was clean and friendly and you can't ask for much more than that.

The experience was absolutely incredible. The view of the mountains is worth a million—truly breathtaking, and I’m not exaggerating. The staff went above and beyond, making us feel completely at home. Our room was spotless, cosy, and full of mountain charm. The restaurant was a standout—everything we had for dinner (lamb, beef, pork, shrimp cocktail, desserts) was fresh, high-quality, and clearly prepared with love and expertise. Breakfast was equally amazing—delicious and plenty of choice. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly!

I wasn't there nearly as long as I'd like! Another week or two would have been great!

Everything about my stay at this hotel was wonderful! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The view from the room was spectacular! Mountain views galore! The room itself was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was a real treat! So many healthy choices! Eggs available any style as well as various fruit and cereal choices! Fresh bread, juices and homemade yogurt! The view from the breakfast area was impressively beautiful! Mountains, forest and sunshine! The perfect combination! There were some wonderful hikes and a lake to swim in just up the road from the hotel as well!

It would be brilliant if there was an option to choose between a room with two single beds and a double bed. Our two single beds kept separating.

Excellent location, with a picturesque view of the mountains. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Extremely friendly staff both at the reception and in the restaurant. Bonus points for the delicious breakfast. Also, special thanks to Cornelia who surprised us, took care of us and kept us company during dinner&breakfast. Cornelia, you are amazing!
