SwitzerlandIt might not be around for much longer and that's really a pity for people who like me prefer to sleep in a comfy affordable place in the valley rather than staying up in the expensive alternative along the Alpine Passes Way.
A really nice family run hotel with a good restaurant and a really nice terrace. My room was very spacious, the bathroom equally. Though on a main road, it was very quiet at night and I really enjoyed my stay here. Dinner on the terrace at the restaurant was very good too with a choice for vegetarian dishes.

SwitzerlandThe room we got was different from the photos on the site in one important aspect. We got an attic room, and the ceiling was very low in the bed area, with large wooden beams making it even lower. Whatever is your height, hitting the beam was unavoidable; we were just lucky to avoid serious consequences like concussions. Room was somewhat dark. There was no shower gel/shampoo provided, neither we found the slippers which were part of the room description.
Great location, both for stopover on the road to Julier Pass or for hiking in the area of Alp Flix (like we did). Room is very basic, but this was expected. Spacious (for the type of the room) bathroom and shower cabin. Very good breakfast. Very clean. Welcoming and helpful hosts. Very quiet.
