Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandInterior and bathroom is a bit dated although not broken.
Location is very beautiful and the interior rather basic but cosy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Diner was very good and breakfast was complete and good. Parking space was very good as well. Room was spacious and comfortable. Public transport (train) is opposite of the road and very near. Excellent place for a walking event.

SwitzerlandNothing really…. Breakfast coffee could be better and it would be lovely to have a wider choice of swiss wines.
Beautiful historic property, well managed in the beautiful town of Preda. Very convenient for summer hikes around Albula. The restaurant is good and there is a nice breakfast.

FranceSwiss prices. Too many British aristocrats in the neighborhood. St Moritz has been turned into a shopping mall for the filthy rich.
No traffic. You get off the train and stroll up to the hotel. No cars for miles around. Tranquil and peaceful! Great for sledging straight from the back door.

United KingdomFor a hotel that probably doesn’t have many English guests and is pretty isolated we couldn’t fault it
Great room double windows, with Mountain View to wake up too. Good breakfast but evening meal menu not in English but was not a problem. Right next to the rail station but not noisy and next to the start of the sledging run .

United KingdomWe had a wonderful stay in a spacious and comfortable room and enjoyed hearty meals in the restaurant. There's a lovely view not just from the room but also from the bathtub. We love how the only way of getting there in the winter is by train – and the journey on the famous Albula line is just spectacular. The sledge run to Bergün starts right outside the hotel, and a train to St Moritz for the pool takes just over 20 minutes. The hosts were super helpful. Special thanks for that surprise on the last day!

FrancePrices a bit steep for a single night in a hotel, although perhaps that’s just Switzerland
Very clean and located only 3 minutes walk from Preda station. The food was nice and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was included but we were leaving very early so the owner organised a packed breakfast for us to take with us, which was lovely.

New ZealandPreda village was disappointing, being dominated by the rebuild of the Albula rail tunnel. Nearby Bergun is much more attractive and has more facilities
Great food and nice staff.

United StatesBuild an awesome memory with your little ones. Wake up next to sledge trail, rent the sledge and enjoy the trip to Bergun. The restaurant is the reception. The cute wooden windows make it very cozy.

ThailandStayed on the 4th floor with no lift made us exercise a bit. But not a big problem though.
The hotel is such a lovely family hotel. It is clean with great and friendly staffs. The room is big with fully equipped facilities. Great location close to the train station. Food is excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel who loves peaceful atmosphere with beautiful natural surroundings.

United KingdomIt was all good. Switzerland is very expensive, but the Hotel Preda Klum wasn't at all bad for Switzerland
It's a very nice hotel, with a bit of old-world style. Apart from the hotel, there's nothing actually at Preda (although the trains do stop there), but there is a very nice circular walk to Naz if you get a good map to take the "little paths", which are beautiful, rather than the main track (which is OK). You could extend up to the Lake if you're energetic, although we didn't this time. The views around are spectacular of the clouds haven't come down !

MalaysiaWe came during wintry season so its hard to pull our big luggages along the icy, snowy, slopy road up to the hotel even though its very near to the train station. On top of that, our room was at 2nd floor and there was no lifts and no staff to help out. We didn't go out again after that because we were so tired.
The surroundings are beautiful, the room was spacious and cosy, the breakfast was as expected, close to Preda station. The hotel was a last minute booking because the glacier express train was fully booked (due to school hols in swiss... did not expect that) and instead we book the bernina express from st moritz. We were surprised because there is a 6km sledding track that begins right in front of the hotel down to Bergun. You can take the train up from Bergun to Preda and do the sledding again and again. The sled rental is just next to the track. We didn't get to go on it though because we arrived a bit late and had to leave early to catch the Bernina Express. But we did watched a few people doing the sledding.

Czech RepublicFamily hotel, very nice staff, comfortable room, and a good restaurant. Beware!! During the winter season it Is not possible reach the hotel by car! You have to stop in a village Bergun and you have to continue by train. It Is only one stop by a beautiful railway. But it Is definitely worth it! Return way to Bergun you can sledding on the 6km long tobogan run.

United StatesIt would have been nice to have a common area/living room but most of the common areas were used for dining.
Although most of the staff didn't speak english they were more than willing to try and understand my German. I felt this was a very authentic Swiss hotel experience. The rooms were simple but comfortable with great views of the mountains and Bernina Express. We chose this location so that we could do some sledding and it was great, access to the sed run was just down the hill from the hotel. The food was excellent, probably the best that we had in Switzerland.
