It would be great to have a top sheet, rather than just a blanket - but this is a common request for Australians travelling in Europe!

We stayed for 6 nights and were incredibly happy with this outstanding apartment! It's in an excellent location, close to everything in the old town with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The kitchen included lots of cutlery/bowls and cooking utensils and basic supplies (pepper, salt, oil, herbs, spices etc) which made cooking at home relatively easy. The bathrooms include soap and there is a dryer and clothes washer with laundry powder. Several fans were available if it gets hot at night as opening windows can let in street noise (though we slept with the windows open and it was fine). The view from the balconies was great for breakfast in the morning and a drink in the evening!

Trams pass right outside which is noisy especially through the night. Bit over the top booking conditions (50 francs if you don't empty the dishwasher). Washing machine and dryer both full upon arrival.

Excellent location, great info from host before arrival. Well stocked fridge and plenty of water. Nice to have a range of outdoor seating options. Very spacious apartment which was immaculately clean. Couldn’t fault it.

The apartment was better than I could have imagined. It was huge, had 2 big balconies, very comfortable and big couches and food and drink free to use. It was such a great surprise compared to apartments in the rest of Europe.

Absolutely nothing. It was fantastic.

The key pick-up and instructions were very simple and straight forward. You could already tell that the owner paid a lot of attention to details and allowing the guests to feel very welcomed. I highly highly recommend this place for its terrace. It is extremely rare to have such a space in the heart of Basel. We felt so spoiled!! After a long conference day, it is fantastic to settle down in the evening on the terrace. The drink options and kitchen were also fully stocked. We would definitely come back!

Only one thing I'd say would be a few more pillows and sheets for the bedding, otherwise it was fine

The apartment was terrific, perfectly located to enable us to discover the city and the locations around, quiet enough to get away from it all at the end of the evening. Facilities were spot on, loved the stocked amenities for us to use. Prices for the beer and wines were very reasonable.

Everything is so easy in Basel, the location is perfect for transportation in the city! The owner will answer every message, all instructions are clear and understandable.The house is clean, big and warm.The huge terrace has a panoramic view and is very spacious.We couldn't have found a better place for a large group.We would definitely stay in the same house if we travel again.Thank you Lawrence...

Fantastic facilities, we liked the layout, it worked well for our family group and the apartment had everything we needed. Good location. Very clean and well appointed. Great communication, instructions and follow up from the hosts. Their kindness showed in the little extras throughout the apartment and we would happily stay here again.
