I could never get the wifi to work with the directions i received. The big towels in the bathroom were so old they felt like sandpaper. The parking cost for one day was 22 CHF and that was after a 30% coupon. A little overboard in my opinion.

The architecture and rooms are not going to be pictured in a design magazine. Functional. The breakfast room expecially is bleak and the staff were mopping and sweeping the floor during service. Some inane background music. If this is the restaurant in the evening I would not choose it to make a marriage proposal. The garage is expensive, around 18 Swiss Fr for 14 hours overnight.

Very large bedroom, extremely quiet (our room was facing away from the railway which is close) with comfortable beds. Very good breakfast. The hotel is just 3' walk away from the old town which has several restaurants. We can recommend the Ratskeller which is full with locals and locally sourced Swiss food. The underground garage is roomy with charging for electric cars and with a lift to the hotel reception.

It was complicated to get to the entrance. We were driving around in circles for 15 mins before we found the way. Noisy trains right next to hotel.

It’s practical because of its location next to the train station. The reception was closed when I was arrive so they managed to leave me a key in a box, very well organised. To get to the hotel, I went through an underpass and young men were sitting there smoking. They told me something I didn’t understand, and being alone in the evening I felt a bit unease. I think there is another way around to get there, so I guess it’s better to use that way if you prefer. However, I’m sure it’s secure still ! Room was spacious, but the furniture in quite bad condition. Not super clean. Still comfortable. At the end, ok for the price I paid.

The hotel was located very near to the railway station and overlooked the railway. The staff at the reception and in the breakfast room were very helpful and friendly and the choice of food was excellent.

Toilet room 306 was broken, flushing has no water. This happened on Saturday night, which has one staff. Couldn’t change the room, but slightly open unoccupied room next door to use their toilet. I understand the situation, but still disappointed with room quality.

Extremely difficult to get on to WiFi. My fellow traveller had to give up and I needed to contact his home for safe arrival. Beware of traffic and train noise from early morning.

We were traveling with 2 pets and the hotel was kind enough to let them both stay in our room. They were also understanding when we arrived later than expected due to heavy traffic. Breakfast had hot and cold items. Comfortable and clean.

No light switch by the door, nearest one was b the bed, not a problem during my stay as it was summer, but can see it being a problem if it was dark. Otherwise nothing to dislike.

The hotel being a short walk from the train station was a bonus. The check in was easy with a friendly member of staff. The breakfast was good with the usual assortment of items for a continental breakfast.

Accessing hotel up a staircase was not convenient with heavy cases. Luckily the concierge carried one of the bags. Later night (21:30) contact with reception was not clear. The front desk was unmanned and I also had to call also on behalf of another guest who was trying to check in. No late night snack or drinks available, although cold water was given.

Room facilities and bed were comfortable. Breakfast was fresh, an extensive choice and array and very good value! Close to station but hard to find in the dark.
