Very basic but had everything we needed. Shared facilities were clean and accessible. About 5 minute walk from the centre of Lenk. Nice and quiet.

Very friendly welcome by the staff. We were received by Markus who kindly waited for us despite our late arrival and shown us around. Note that late check-ins can be arranged by notifying the staff beforehand. The room was fit for purpose and as advertised on the website. As backpackers, what we also appreciated is the shared kitchen, the shared dining room and the washing/drying machines. Not being from Switzerland and travelling on a budget (wink wink, the too are related), it was great to be able to prepare our own dinner and breakfast (and not spend a month of salary on restaurants --> although rest assured, there are good options). Note as well that the hostel is conveniently placed very near to the town center and the train station (a 5 min walk away at most). There you go. Happy with our stay and we actually went back for a second night there. Hope this helps.

The level of comms isolation is very poor. You can hear literally everything, even if some is just passing by your room on the corridor. The cleanness of the room could be improved (e.g., cleaning cobwebs). Also, the curtains could be replaced for proper ones. The current once are just for decoration.

Not enough pans in the kitchen for cooking when others were cooking too.

Good central location. Very clean facilities. Friendly staff. We stayed in room 3. It had 2 sets of bunk beds for our family of four. Room for hanging clothes and a shelf. A couple of desks and chairs plus a TV. Great for what was needed. The kitchen was great for self catering. Good fridges for storing food. Loads of crockery and cutlery. Good social space.

To no fault of the staff, sometimes the sink in the kitchen was full to the brink with dirty dishes (I'd guess because of some comfortable/ lazy people, since it's clearly written that everyone is responsible for their own dishes etc.. not a hotel, it's a hostel). Most often it was gone the day after, but I feel bad for the person having to clean up that mess. Props to you! Another a bit annoying matter was: the reception closing before time. If it's five minutes or just sometimes before I'd understand. But I saw it happen on three seperate occasions throughout my two weeks stay there (I was out a lot so I wasn't even present often during their opening hours). It's just a bit unfortunate if you want to ask something semi-important.

It was a pretty nice hostel. Had more or less everything one needed and very clean in general (I have been to worse hostels before, this one definitely belongs to the good ones). Excellent location (only a few minutes from the train and central bus station + good view of all the mountains. The people (staff and guests) were very nice overall.

The manager got quite unfriendly when i asked a question before arrival, because he misread my message. In Person he was kind though.

Great view, great kitchen (usable after breakfast hours, from 11am on i think) Comfortable rooms and beds. All in all great "Hostel"

It is smelly like school canteen even in the bedroom A lot of dirty stain on the carpet. You do not want to walk there barefoot. No light in two out of four bathrooms. Between the showers, there is full of fungus. Not suitable curtain in the bedroom, it doesnt block any street light. No sound proof between the rooms at all. You hear what everybody do in the whole complex even it is just a walking. We were there with not a lot of guests but they put us next to each other. Unfortunately, we have a crying baby and loud family for the whole night. It could have been avoided if they spread us out a bit.

There was no possibility to dim the room. The coffee machine was cleaned after 8am only; we were not able to have a coffee before at the facility and had to get one from the train station buffet.

The self check-in was easy. Big kitchen.

We didn‘t get the room as advertised and portrayed on the pictures. You will most certainly get bunk beds, even if shown differently Very pricy for what you get.

I can’t speak good Swiss but the manger Markus has always welcomed me and my brother and family. Lenk is a special place and it should not be overrun as other ski resorts we will quietly continue to visit and enjoy it

1) Toilettes are not well signed -it is not self-explaining when you come in as self-checking, room no 1. 2) The curtain are useless. Room is all night bright due to street lamp. Really bad sleep quality. 3) this is even topped if someone leaves the tumbler on all night long. If you sleep in room No 1, your night rest is gone. Why can you not have a sign : washing/ Tumbler after 10 pm forbidden? If electricity is cheaper then, let the client pay for it.

Bad service, not happy with my stay. We were given a bunk bed dorm when I did not book it. We had to make our own beds. There was no one there to welcome us, and the kitchen was a mess on the night with some strange characters outside the property. For the price, this was very poor.
