We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Good location, quiet street, but still in the centre of the city. Parking 10 CHF per night, no problem with spaces. Good breakfast, everything we would like to see. Nice and helpful staff. At night the hotel has no receptionist, you have to collect your keys until late. Funny but useful system for the keys - you leave you big key and take small one with you. Same key opens the front door. Rooms are spacious enough, clean and fresh. If you are late there is a fridge with drinks and you just put down what you took. Good system!

South AfricaWe didn't add breakfast to our booking up front, but we were informed that we could still decide on the day if we wanted breakfast. When we wanted to have breakfast one morning, there was no one available to help us unfortunately, so we went elsewhere.
We loved the honesty bar which was available at night for refreshments. The location was convenient - out of the busy central area, but still close enough to walk where we needed to go.

SwitzerlandNot about the hotel itself, but I would recommend to book this hotel directly and not via booking.com. There are more booking options available (e.g., breakfast included) on the website and a car parking is included in the fee if booked directly. Also, the breakfast fee on booking.com and in the hotel was different. In fact, it was CHF 18 instead of CHF 15 indicated in my booking confirmation.
Very friendly personnel is the first thing you realize on arrival. They are very helpful and friendly, which makes you feel welcome. Good location - you are at the lake in just 10 min walk and there is a bus stop close by to go to Locarno, for instance. A big supermarket is also 3 min away by foot.

SwitzerlandHotel Luna Garni is located in a quiet area, not far away from the promenade of Ascona. The room was very clean and included an own bathroom and a little balcony. The staff has been friendly and we loved staying there!
