Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. EgyptThe only problem is that the accommodation prices are high. I hope the hotel reviews its prices, but I believe that Zurich as a whole is overpriced for all services. The only problem I encountered was there is no air conditioning in the rooms, especially since I was there in August and the weather was hot. However, the hotel staff arranged for a portable air conditioner to solve the problem immediately. I also asked room service to clean the room, but it wasn't cleaned or the towels changed. I complained to the reception staff, and they partially resolved the issue and took care to the best of their ability.
This is my first time visiting Zurich, a beautiful country. The Locke am Platz Hotel is a respectable and very clean hotel. It has an elevator, and the room is spacious, comfortable, equipped with all you need, and safe. It has all the amenities you need. It also boasts a prime location, very close to Lake Zurich, Zurich's main commercial street and area, as well the tram station. It's also in a safe area. All services, including shops, a supermarket, cafes, and restaurants, are all within easy reach. All the staff are extremely kind and helpful, especially Mr. Milosh, whom I hope I spelled his name correctly. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at the hotel.

FranceThe chamber maid was very strange. I usually went out after breakfast and came back late afternoon. One day the chambermaid hadn't done the room. Then she knocked on the door as I was having a rest, about 3.15pm. I was too tired to let her in to clean. Then in the morning, she knocked on my door just after I had breakfast, to begin the room and I wasn't yet ready to go out. I said I would leave in 15 mins., which I did. I came back, the bed was made, and the cups were not changed, the toilet roll had run out, there was a spare. No teabags were ever replaced. So for me, that was a strange experience - as if she didn't know what to do. Perhaps she was in training? It didn't spoil my stay, but this service didn't match the good aspects. I think it was probably a one-off and isn't normal for the hotel.
Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good location with shops and venue I needed to get to. Breakfast good, and staff very helpful at breakfast time, all kept tidy. Nice to have a little terrace with my room.

NetherlandsAs mentioned, the room is a bit cluttered, everything is there, but it is a lot.... What I believe could be better is the side table next to the bed, very small and a lamp post in the middle of the small table, I also would like to have more general lightning in the bed area, for reading in bed the light is fine, but when curtains are closed, the area around the bed stays rather dark, maybe cosy but not always practical (i.a. packing or unpacking a suitcase).
I had been to the hotel before and I was very satisfied then, this time I am a bit more critical, not because the hotel is not very good anymore, it is, but.... this time I found the room a bit small (although the room was offered so I did not have to wait to check-in, I was very early, and I accepted this room). The room gives a very welcome feeling, it is warmly designed, but maybe a bit cluttered, however, the beds are absolutely wonderful, somehow firm and soft.... , the shower is great, nice water pressure for the rain shower, and a separate hand shower. As earlier, the staff is absolutely top, friendly and helpful (and efficient), in this case one of them promised to get back to me if they would also have a room available the night before, and he did! No room for that night, but a nice and helpful message.

I enjoyed the stay at this hotel. The property was clean, the staff was friendly, and it was in a very nice area. I was able to walk to just about all of locations and it was very close to Lake Zurich. I wish I had more time to enjoy a longer stay at this property and would stay again. The balcony was a nice touch.

Location was good. Didn’t have breakfast. We were not impressed with having to wait until 4 pm on the dot to have access to our room. This was very inconvenient and we don’t believe the room wasn’t ready until exactly that time. This was the worst and latest time of all our accommodation over six and a half weeks in Europe! So we wouldn’t recommend that aspect of hotel to anyone who may arrive earlier.

We had a great stay at this hotel in Zurich. It was very clean and the location was incredibly convenient — just steps from public transit, which made getting around the city super easy. The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to help us, especially when it came to giving clear instructions for getting to the airport and storing our luggage after check-out due to our late flight. Zurich itself was a highlight — the city is beautiful, and everyone we met was so welcoming and helpful. We also took a couple of train trips into the mountains, which were absolutely breathtaking.

The room is clean, and the size is just right. The small balcony is perfect for a bit of fresh air. The hotel is within walking distance of the lake and the old city center.
